RE: Medway Decker Cemetery
Hello Bonnie

There are 2 Medway Cemeteries listed on Find-a-Grave and they are the same cemetery. The results should be merged.

Anyway, the Medway Cemetery listed under Middlesex county has a notation that it is also known as Decker Cemetery. There are pillars at the entrance with plaques on them - the left pillar says "Medway Cemetery 1936" and the right one says "Donated by David Y. Decker 1833".

I will gladly take photos for you sometime this summer.

Regards, Marg

RE: Decker Cemetery
Hi Bonnie,
I'm not sure about the name of the cemetery because the photo you're referring to was taken by a friend of mine who lives in London, Ontario so I have never been there. I live in Brampton which is too far away for me to get to that cemetery to find out or take photos. Sorry I can't be of more help. If you check my Find a Grave friends list you will find the name "Margie" ... she lives near there so maybe if you leave her a message she could help you.
Take care, Margaret

thank you for the information and your effort in trying to find James Acton tombstone. I truly hope you didn't come into contact with the poison ivy.

Good evening, Bonnie. Just saw that you were able to get one of your photos loaded to "Find A Grave" for Evander Eugene Peavy. The "Diane" mentioned on his tombstone is his second wife, Diane Hayes. Guess I do need photos of the tombstones since the memorial doesn't give dates. In 2002, Diane was still living in Pensacola which is where Evander died. I do appreciate your efforts and glad to see that you have worked out at least one of the kinks.

Lettie has transferred Evander's profile to me. She mentioned that she would recommend someone contact the cemetery to find out who the individuals on the reverse side are. I only know of two children born to Evander with his first wife and neither is "Becky" or "Rebecca. Not sure what year he married Diane and don't know if they had children or not.

Again thanks for your help. Pat Cronin
