A HUGE thank you to folks who provide information to verify the "edits" they send.
Seen on another members profile page:-
When sending me corrections please send some source that I can verify. Since others will rely on our work for their own research, I prefer to verify data - especially dates and family links - before making edits.
To request a transfer or edit information please use the EDIT tab at the top right of the person's page, check the drop down menu for options.
DO NOT USE THE PUBLIC MESSAGE BOARD TO MAKE REQUESTS.
Please remember to include the memorial page number and your membership number when asking for information about an entry I have made. It makes it sooooo much easier for me to find the person you are asking about.
I am currently working on recording Beechmount Cemetery, Edmonton. It is a work in progress and will take quite a while to complete. Please be patient, however if you have a special request please ask, I may be able to help you right away.
I do have photos of most all of the markers that I have transcribed from Canadian Cemeteries. So please ask. I have not cleaned the stones so you might come across a photo of one of your relative's stones and think, "what a mess". If you would like a better picture posted then I can go out and retake it no problem and do a little clearing away of dirt etc. I just figured I could get all the photos done in a more timely manner and then make a better effort on the ones people actually are interested in seeing.
If you would like me to remove a memorial please let me know and I shall remove it right away - no questions asked.
Because of the few RUDE people demanding I transfer pages to them, I shall no longer make transfers unless you are polite AND can explain to me how the person is related to you.
However, as FaGer Scott wrote :- If there is any particular entry that I have made that is very important to you, related or not, if you sponsor their page I will transfer it to you ASAP. This helps Find a Grave and shows me that this entry truly is important to you and that you are not simply trying to 'collect' all you can find of a particular surname.
Should you find that I have inadvertently duplicated an entry or photo please let me know, I will remedy the situation as soon as possible.
Found on another member's profile re photos :-
If you add a headstone photo to a memorial that is SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER than mine (FAG rules), please let me know so I can delete mine. Note: FAG advises "close-ups" of portions of the headstone are not necessary if the information is clearly visible in the main photo.
Having been infected with Lyme Disease in Germany 2007 I need less stress in my life and need "gentle exercise" I find taking photos for Find A Grave gets me the fresh air, exercise and the tranquility I need in the summer months and uploading the information exercises my mind in winter.
If you need to know more about Lyme Disease please check - Canlyme.com and LymeDisease.org

Thank you so much for updating her memorial and for all the help you give to the rest of us.

Thanks Alison. I am familiar with the parameters, which is why I phrased the request the way I did. A couple of the managers with large collections of memorials have been interested in me taking over family blocks where I'm discovering a lot of details so they are needed to do multitudes of edit suggestions.
I'm just as happy to leave them with you -- just offering to help.
Thanks for what you do. Randy

Alison, Thank you for the unexpected transfer. It is most kind of you since I was the duplicate one.....Peace.Lawrence

Really Alison, I wish more people required the genealogical rigor & proof you do.
It's really no big deal to compile a synopsis, IF you've done the research ;-) Steph

Sorry. I didn't realize this was one of yours. From his WWI attestation papers. You could also note his wife is Minerva Frances Stuckey (listed as his next of kin on the attestation papers).

Thank you so much for making the correction I requested - and so fast! I really appreciate it. I too wish folks did their homework before asking for edits.

It's so nice when people like yourself take the trouble to say thank you.
I am working my way around my local area and am now up to a radius of about about 25 miles.

I have no documents. I get my additions to memorials from the memorial itself, or from relatives bio info.
