I am a retired naval officer. I am addicted to genealogy. I love puttering around in cemeteries, even if I don't know any of the people there personally. I like to find and meet new cousins that I didn't know previously and share genealogical info with them. If you go back far enough, we are all cousins.|
Families I am particularly interested in include:
Zellner, Coffey, Harrell, Welch, Hayes, Rucker, Hipsher/Hipshire, Lorenz, Slocum, and Adams.
I have a special interest in the genealogy of many of the families who settled in Grainger County, Tennessee. They intermarried early and often, and if you are kin to any of them, you are likely kin to all of them.
The Millers were Volga Germans who immigrated to the U.S.A. in 1875. I have lots of information on them and the other Volga German families they intermarried with. I am happy to share with anyone who is researching that area.
I am always happy to transfer to a relative, even a distant one (unless they are my relatives, too!). I don't mind managing all the records I have created, but I am more than happy to transfer them to someone else with a direct interest to manage.
Feel free to use any photo I have posted. I wouldn't have posted them, if I didn't want to share.

Hannah Roach/Rouch Joyce, was married twice, her 1st husband, who she married in 1861, was John C. Ferguson/Forguson (1841-1863) He was in the 8th TN Calvary, and died during a battle - burial unknown. Her 2nd husband was John Parrott Joyce (J. P.), whose parents were from NC and settled for a time in Grainger County, but moved on to Trigg Co., KY. J. P. and Hannah were married in Grainger County, 11 Mar 1869. I cannot locate them in any records between April of 1869 and the 1880 census, where Hannah and the boys are in Grainger County. She is listed as a widow, but more than likely I think shes divorced. J.P. died in 1889, and is buried in Trigg County. I had sent to you a few link edits, which you excepted the links to the boys, but not to J.P., which is why I gave you the above history. Thanks.

I've had the same trouble. I view on Adobe, crop slightly and save and it seems to solve the problem. Sounds like a clitch somewhere in the system.
Thank you so much for the Peter Keith Transfer. Very much appreciated.

Sure will cousinl. I know what a puzzle the cemeteries are over there. I took a trip to Thorn Hill several years ago and took many pictures. But when I went to look each person up, sometimes they were listed in many cemeteries. Some of these cemeteries that have five or six listings on Find A Grave need to be merged. I still have many pictures to add but don't want to add to the confusion.
