I found findagrave when I was doing research on my family tree and I love this site, I think it is wonderful for not just us researchers but also as a wonderful way to remember those who have gone on... I love to take photos and have found I really enjoy taking photos of gravestones, there is just something about taking a picture of a stone that someday might be unreadable and preserve it on this wonderful site...Anybody that runs across one of my photos has my permission to use it in their family trees or in whatever other projects they need the use of the photo for... Also anyone that would like me to transfer a memorial site over to them I will do so gladly...|

Thanks for adding the bio on the daughter!! You are a blessing.
|Patricia Munder Thompson||Georg Phillip Preiss|
I am doing research on the Preiss family tree (all of the Preiss families, but mostly Georg's brother Philipp Heinrich).
What a blessing Find A Grave is!! Thanks for all your help to preserve our history.
I do have one question. 14 of Georg's 15 children are linked to him. The only one missing is Elizabeth Preiss (1862-1863) born to George and his first wife Catherine Fink.
I'm guessing there isn't a headstone at Elm Lawn (Parkway UCC) cemetery, but not sure since I live in Houston, TX.
I would like to add a memorial for Elizabeth, if that's okay. I'm fairly new to Find A Grave and Family Search, so I like to get some direction before I just add something new.
Thanks again for what you've done....and will do.
Pat Munder Thompson.
thanks for the heads up I have deleted mine....

Thank you. Some day when I have nothing to do I'd like to take a ride down there. Often though I'd like to be buried there. No calm and peaceful in a nature setting.

Hi I used to hunt in the area of Success, MO in Dallas County. There was a small cemetery there. Do you know the name of the cemetery? Just wondering if it is on Find A Grave. Thanks Judy
