Bio Photo I've been doing genealogy research for 30+ years.
I am an avid historian of American History, a member of the DAR, serve on the Cemetery Commission in my county and am very concerned about the destruction and disrepect shown to our pioneer cemeteries. I have completed pioneer cemetery restoration classes through the IN Hist. Soc. and I research and reclaim abandoned family cemeteries.

Hi. I was going to post photos of Amanda's grave stone, but it will push your photos of her off the page. Would it be possible to repost the photos of her as a "person" instead of a "grave".

Thank you!

RE: John Marshall
Thanks. I might add the Civil War part you mention. I have some other relatives from KY, the Wootens, who had siblings on both sides of the war. That's really extreme. I also found this book called Blood Runs in the Barrens. Apparently there were a lot of feuds down in that area.

Richard Scruggs
If Richard Scruggs was born in 1776, how could he have served in the Revolutionary War?

Re: Richard Scruggs, Jr.

You have a picture on this memorial of what is left of a fireplace. Do you remember what this house was. I know that there is a cabin on the Cowpens property, but that is intact. Is this chimney also on the grounds there or somewhere else?

Thank you,

Nan Lieberman

RE: Burnett-Bonnell Cemetery
Thank you so much for your help and information. I am enjoying this new "hobby". I can see how it becomes a way of life. My husband even helps with the picture taking and is becoming very interested in it himself. Merry Christmas.

Ms. Burk, I am still trying to find information on this cemetery. The notes say it is on private property, however, it sounds as though pictures and an audit was done at some point. I would really like to help with the photo requests if possible. Thank You and Happy Holidays.

Burnett-Bonnell Cemetery
Hello, I am doing some research and like to help anyone I can that has requested a photo of a family members burial site.

I live in Columbus, IN and have 3 request for Burnett-Bonnell, which happens to be less then 5 min. from where I live. Do you have a contact number for the person that owns the property this is on? I know it is in a wooded area on private land and has been greatly vandalized over the years. I would love to take photo and research all I can about those buried their.

I would appreciate any help or ideas you may give me as I am fairly new to all of this.

Thank you!

Jenny C.
