Bio and Links
Bio Photo Simply put, my goal is to help others. I don't like errors; if you find any, or if you would like me to transfer ownership, add relationship links, or add additional information, please let me know.

I have several pets on this site. One of my pets, though, was really smart and even wrote his own autobiography/obituary! If you have a few minutes, "Pokey's" thoughts and life remembrances are a pretty interesting read, I thought anyway!

Simply search my records for Pokey Ferguson.

Thanks and Have A Wonderful Day!

Can you rearrange photos.
I downloaded a photo and hoped it would not be first in the pictures. Find A Grave Memorial# 27867633. I took the picture of the older memorial and wanted it to be second not first on Mary Bolton Emison. Thank you.

Please review Find A Grave Memorial# 23993393, as they are the same person. Tombstones are in two different cemeteries.
He had 3 wives and at least 20 children.
If you are familiar with the area and cemeteries, maybe you could contact them and get the stones in the proper place. Just an idea.

Hunter Porter
James Elliott born 1775
Hello, I noticed you had quite a bit of research done on this James Elliott. During any of that research did you run into a man with the name of Minor Porter? I looked up land documents for Minor Porter who I think might be my 5th great grandpa. And on one of those documents, James Elliott's name along with Minor Porter was also on there. If you have any information on who this Minor Porter is. Please let me know. Minor Porter was Justice of the Peace for Blount county Alabama in 1823-1825.

Walter Scott and Edmund Tarvin
Edmund Tarvin b. 1823 d. 1854 was my 2nd gr grandfather. He married Parthena H. Tarvin, his first cousin once removed.

His son, Edmund A. Tarvin was b. 27 Mar 1853 and d. 29 Sep 1853, per Campbell Co. death records, film 994080, p. 48.

Edmund A. And Walter Scott Tarvin were, indeed, brothers.

Edmund's father, Richard Tarvin, d. 10 Oct 1852. I think he is
