Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've enjoyed working on my family tree and helping others with their research for many years. I am a member of several genealogy organizations and the DAR. It's important to preserve the family history provided to us by cemeteries. Besides looking for my own family names, I also like to record military graves and the older headstones before they are no longer readable.

Colonel Martin Scott
Marte,

I am writing an article on Major Martin Scott for a series I have been working on dedicated to officers killed during the U.S.-Mexican War (Emerging Civil War). I was wondering if you would allow me to reproduce the image you have on the site along with my article?

Thanks,
Frank Jastrzembski

RE: Elizabeth Van Rensselaer Elmendorf
Marte,
Thank you for the connecting Peter Edmund Elmendorf to his two wives, named Elizabeth Van Rensselaer and their respective children. You went above and beyond with this for which I am very appreciative.

Wealthy A. Tucker Lucas, Find a grave #133770372
Mount Hope Cemetery, Athens, Greene County, NY. Please correct info. Parents listed as Jeremiah Tucker & Lavina Clearwater. I am descendant of Jeremiah Tucker and Margaret. Lavina Clearwater was Jeremiah's mother, per his death certificate. Father was Thomas W. Tucker. Wealthy is possibly Jeremiah's sister. According to my notes about Jeremiah's obituary, he had a sister, Mrs. Lucas of Cementon. Please send me information about your sources. I will share my sources, if you are interested. Email: sellerbee@cox.net Thanks - Susan Posten Ellerbee

Denis Crowley #59276200
I was wondering where you got the information on Denis Crowley. I'm working on my wife's family tree, and trying to connect her maternal ancestors. There may have been a couple of Denis Crowley's in Saugerties, so I'm trying to see if this one is ours.
