Thanks
Mark: Thanks so much for your speedy reply - when I question a burial, it is meant to be helpful in finding out as much as possible about the person. Thank you so much for your cordial response - I was actually looking for her maiden name, which you had provided!

I take care of the records at a small cemetery and know what it is like to not have existing stones, nor even correct & complete records. I have documented over 300 burials which were never written into the record, and many of them had stones - thank goodness.

I have some documented data about a few of your Fondas & will put anything I have on their individual edits, so I hope you consider me being helpful and not critical. All will be from official sources. ~ Cheers, Shirleen

Thank you for bringing the error to my attention.
I have removed Myron, Jr as father from Elizabeth's Find A Grave and corrected my tree.

Listing someone at a cemetery when you do not have evidence is very misleading. You have not included any disclaimer. I have looked up his obit and it only says his service was by a military group nothing about his place of burial.

To comply with best practices I think you should undo the listing for George and his wife. It is possible a researcher will claim this information as accurate. They may even ask a volunteer for a photograph. Volunteer's have a life too and to ask them to spend their time running around for looking for something that does not exist is just plain wrong.
Thank you for considering their deletion.

Mark, why do you think George is buried in the GRA cemetery in Seattle? His name is not on the burial list.

Mark,
I did not find Clifford in Forest Park Cemetery when I looked for every inscription that I could find in that cemetery a few years ago. However, I just posted a photo of his inscription in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy. If you had found evidence that Clifford was buried in Forest Park, then he was probably moved out of Forest Park and into Oakwood Cemetery, where he now rests with his family members. There were many folks re-interred in other area cemeteries from Forest Park, which was supposed to be a grand place, but instead fell into ruin. Please move Clifford's memorial to Oakwood Cemetery, Troy. Thanks, Alice

Coldwater Michigan Fonda family photograph collection
Hello Mark, I am a local historian in Branch County Michigan, and years ago I purchased a collection of vintage photographs that included some photographs of the Fonda families of Coldwater. I have uploaded a few on find a grave, from David Fonda and his wife's funeral card. Do you know of any direct family who would love to purchase this album of 38 quality photographs, circa 1900, most identified. Charles and Eunice Fonda are also uploaded. Thanks.
