Amateur genealogy interest.... I also have contributed memorials & grave photos, mostly in my home area of southern Saratoga County, NY. |
If my work has helped you, please leave me a message here.
You may use any photo or data I have posted for personal genealogy research. Please just cite the associated Findagrave memorial number.
Most of the memorials I manage are not from own family tree, so I will generally transfer a memorial to anyone who is knowledgeable about the person and wants to take responsible ownership. Just ask... (please use the link EDIT -> "Suggest any other correction or addition").
These family names are in my tree:
Beicke (Buffalo, NY)
Bremer (Buffalo, NY)
Lochte (Buffalo, NY)
Morlock (Buffalo, NY)
Urtel (Buffalo, NY)
Radtke (Buffalo, NY)
Murphy (Medina, NY)
Sasiela (NYC & New Britain, CT)
Kwasniak (NYC & New Britain, CT)

Dan. I found the photo of Emily J. Morey, wife of David Morey in Waterford Rural Cemetery. I am doing a search for links to Nathan Morey and Reuben Willard for DAR membership. This picture will be helpful. Thanks.
Jacomina Turneur (alternate) was the first wife of Jacobus (James) Vanderbilt. His second wife was also named Jacomina Turneur.
This first wife's parents were Johannes Turneur and Sarah Tallman. Thanks.

Hello Dan, I submitted two edit requests. One to add his full date and place of death and another to add his Civil War unit to the Bio Section:
39th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry, Co. D
The sources were his obit and his military pension record. Thanks for having created his memorial. Paul Turner

Thanks much. I have read a little bit from my original picture. I will try to get back in the spring.

Dan, I am working on a genealogy of my family. One member, Polly Losee, is buried at Clifton Park Baptist Cemetery. I have been there a number of years ago when I was just starting out in genealogy. There is a tombstone for Polly, your Find A Grave Memorial# 96572738. I have a picture of the tombstone and you have it on the cemetery website. However, I did not transcribe the inscription at the bottom of the marker. Do you have it or is there any way you might get it? I know I won't get back there until the spring.
Much thanks for any help you can provide.

I noticed that you have mother and son listed as each other's spouse - please know that John E. Bartlett, Jr, Memorial# 94127430, is actually the son of Janet Bartlett, Memorial# 94127405. Janet's husband, John E Bartlett Sr., passed away in 1977 and is buried in Hudson View Cemetery, Mechanicville. Thank you, in advance for correcting this link
Thank you so much for the transfers and for all the work you do!
