RE: Rasley
Thank you for the clarification on the burial place of Benjamin Riegel. Was Anna "Green" Riegel his second wife and should she be linked to him?

My husband has the Rasleys in his tree and I have emailed Ron who runs the site a number of times. We have actually helped each other. I appreciate you sharing the information with me just because you saw the Rasley name.

Lois Raesley Jafferay
Hi Carol, the photo of the tombstone you have for Lois is clearly that of the wrong woman. There's no married name just the maiden surname Raesly, and the dates of birth and death are way off. Having done this myself at a few cemeteries, I know how easy it is to confuse similar people. Thanks for doing the hard work!

I made the corrections as you requested and transferred her to you too. Thanks so much for posting a photo of both her and Charles. It's always great to see what people looked like. Let me know if I can be of any futher help.

Hi. Thanks for the correction. Sometimes I do these late at nite and I guess my brain was not coordinating with my fingers at that time. I would be happy to transfer this over to you, as you are family. I'm just to get all of these posted in case families are looking for their ancestors.

Campbell Family
Hi Carol, I too like Danny are wanting to get a photo of Rebecca Campbell the 2nd wife of James C Campbell born in 1802 , but would love to know who your husband was related to. James C Campbell had two wives both of them Rebecca. His first wife was Rebecca Tyson she died in 1860 and he married Rebecca Winn the Granddaughter of Richard Winn. Her father was Robert Winn. James Campbell had 3 Sons by his first wife, Thomas Belton, William and Tyson James, and 2 by his second wife Rebecca Winn. She died in childbirth in 1869 and her son was buried with her, this child was born 7 months after her other son Howell Tyson was born. I have a family tree written in hand by my Mother in Law she was the granddaughter of Mary Julia Campbell the daughter of Thomas Belton and it goes back to the first James Campbell born in 1723 in Campbelltown Scotland who built a Fort beside the Congaree river. Rebecca Campbell
I see you created a memorial for Rebecca Campbell, interred as the only grave in the Charlie Martin Cemetery on Fort Jackson. Where exactly on the fort is that small cemetery located? I have reason to believe she is my GGGG-grandmother and would love to visit the grave.
