I did not find Clifford in Forest Park Cemetery when I looked for every inscription that I could find in that cemetery a few years ago. However, I just posted a photo of his inscription in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy. If you had found evidence that Clifford was buried in Forest Park, then he was probably moved out of Forest Park and into Oakwood Cemetery, where he now rests with his family members. There were many folks re-interred in other area cemeteries from Forest Park, which was supposed to be a grand place, but instead fell into ruin. Please move Clifford's memorial to Oakwood Cemetery, Troy. Thanks, Alice

Coldwater Michigan Fonda family photograph collection
Hello Mark, I am a local historian in Branch County Michigan, and years ago I purchased a collection of vintage photographs that included some photographs of the Fonda families of Coldwater. I have uploaded a few on find a grave, from David Fonda and his wife's funeral card. Do you know of any direct family who would love to purchase this album of 38 quality photographs, circa 1900, most identified. Charles and Eunice Fonda are also uploaded. Thanks.

RE: Louie Fonda #49152997
Nope....She seems to be one of multiple females within that branch of the family with similar names, all born within 10 to 15 years of each other. There's Louvernie ie Louie, born in 1873 are seems to be buried in IN near her brother Henry, there's Vernie (Fonda) Spencer (1884-1969), daughter of Henry, who's cited in Jeremiah's obituary.....she and Ernest Spencer(Jeremiah's pallbearer) are my Dad's paternal grandparents....then, there's Vernice B Fonda, buried in the same plot as Jeremiah and Charlotte at Forrest Hills in TN. Her dob and dod are 1873-1894, but her name is one that is previously attributed in records to my Great Grandmother, who wasn't born until 1885. To further complicate stuff, my dad says everyone he ever heard call his grandma by name called her Laverne. That marker in IN with Henry could just be a memorial, and Louie's actual grave could be in TN with her parents, but that's not really a good explanation. So, no clue.
