Bio and Links
Bio Photo I use to use chalk on old stones, and was unaware of any damage it may do. I no longer use chalk on stones. If anyone has a listing I placed a stone photo on in which I used chalk, and they want that photo removed, just let me know and I will remove it. As agreed by find a grave, the chalked photo's will be removed as new, readable photo's are placed on the listing.

I just want to let everyone know, I do read all of the messages left on my page, and appreciate hearing that my efforts are not in vain. I am sorry though that I only answer the ones that are a question. I do appreciate all of your messages.

Hi Thomas,
Thank you for taking those great photos for me. It was even a bonus as I now have her husband Samuel's as well. You killed to birds with the one stone as they saying goes. I appreciate your time. regards Robyn from Australia.

John Bissell
Hi again Tom,

I called Vale cemetery & got the story on John. He was buried as a pauper by the county & he died on Dec 17 1902, but since the ground was frozen they kept the remains in storage until May 23 1903 when he was buried.
Can you add that the date on the stone is actually the burial date?

Thanks very much,

Karyl

Thanks for getting this pic Thomas. I just noticed that the stone says death as May 23 1903, but the info on the page says died May 17 1902 (there is a also a NY death notice with that date)
Do you remember if there were other Bissells in the same section? Wondering if there are 2 Johns...

Would you be kind enough to post the same photo to the four daughters? Their stones only have their first names, Anna (184053662), Elizabeth (184053730), Julia (184053836) and Mary (184053886).

If this is too much trouble, would you grant me permission to copy your photo and allow me to repost it? I would give you full credit.

Thomas, Thank you for attempting to find the gravestone for Benjamin Dimmick (1831-1897). He may be buried there without a stone or the stone has disappeared.
Regards, John
