Retired military and living near Antietam battlefield. |
IF YOU NEED FAMILY LINKS MADE, PUT YOUR REQUEST HERE. MY EMAIL ACCOUNT HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING SOME ISSUES. THANKS
If I have added a family member or a good friend, I am happy to transfer memorials. I am not bothered by F.A.G. guidelines in transfers. I am concerned about getting family members "back together." I DO transfer distant relatives since they SHOULD be with family.
I am also happy to transfer memorials of close friends as well as family.
REMEMBER, these sites are in memory of someones' ancestors. If you place a photo on a memorial, make it good enough that you would be happy with it on your own.
All men die...not all men really live.
I am looking for Charles & Flo Liddington. Flo died in 1972. Charlie was alive in 1974. They were my mothers' mother & step-father.
I believe they lived modestly within a half hour of Danville, PA. Also,
I am also searching for any info regarding the roster for the 33rd or 34th Battalions of the Maryland Militia. An ancestor I am searching for, Thomas Mock, who served with this unit in New Jersey in 1777 under George Washington. He had a wife named Sarah and parents were George & Catherine Mock. They were from "SUPPOSEDLY" living between Sharpsburg and Middletown, Washington & Fredrick County, MD.

I wanted to thank you for adding the picture of my sisters headstone. I was wondering if you're in that area again, if you could get a picture of my grandma's headstone too. She's right next to my sister Abigail. Her name is Lucy LeBre. Thank you so much for everything you do to connect us with our loved ones.

Hi Birdman - I am trying to locate the marker for my 3X great grandfather who died in Alpine Station (North Mountain Depot) area in the Civil War. I have a letter that a Captain Apsley of PA Volunteers 54th Reg company D wrote to his widow and it says he was "buried in the public burial area in Hedgesville WV and was marked so there would be no problem locating it". I am wondering if you live any where near Hedgesville or maybe know someone who does and can help me in obtaining further info on my relative.
He died Jan 31, 1863.
However you can direct me will be much appreciated! Thank you... Nancy Tepper
