Bio

Forest Hills Cemetery is practically in my backyard, and I love walking there. It is, in my opinion, the most beautiful 275 acres in all of Boston. And since discovering this site while doing some of my own genealogical research, I've also found that I love finding headstones for people, too. If I've found a grave for you, all I ask is that you visit a nearby cemetery and pay it forward.

Also, if you want to post any photo I've taken to another web site, have at it. Don't even worry about crediting me as the photographer. The way I see it, the photos don't belong to me, they belong to the people researching their family history or remembering loved ones who have passed, and should therefore be as widely available as possible. But please note that not all of the photographers who contribute to this site feel the same way, and be mindful to respect their photos.

Best,
Doug
