Thought you might want to update Virginia Lee Bowman's memorial #46298144.
Virginia Lee Bowman, of Oakland, MO, formerly of Rolla, MO, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at the age of 85.
She was born on December 7, 1931 in Council Grove, KS to the late Joseph Marion Lee and Xora Edith (Honse) Lee. On June 10, 1952, she married Sgt. Mgr. Robert F. Bowman in Oklahoma who preceded her in death in 1978.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Joseph Bowman; and three sisters, Wilda Lee, Marita Lee Grace and Lyla Lee.
Virginia loved gardening and sewing. She made many dolls. Most of all, she loved the Lord and spending time with her family.
Virginia will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes: her children, David Robert Bowman and wife Sonia, Jacqueline Ann Oakes and husband Mike Chapman; Robert Earl Bowman; Susan Marie Seidel and husband Alan; and Virginia Lee Bowman; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Lee and one sister, Lorena Rinehart.
A funeral service for Virginia L. Bowman will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

I want to thank you for the Transfer of Sophia Kompa, I was a bit surprised, but a good surprise. Actually I am related to her husband, John Martin #110453011. He is my 2nd cousin 1X removed. Since I have Sophia's Memorial I would like to have John Martin's Memorial. I will ask in an edit for his Memorial. John mother was a Stites and my mother was a Stites, all Stites are related.
