RE: Location
How did you get down to Resurrection Cemetery?!!! I used to be from that area but am now located in South Jersey. Before that I was in Central Pennsylvania.

Lawrence J Edwards - Resurrection Cemetery
Thank you for taking a photo of my father's grave marker. On a whim I looked up the cemetery and was very surprised to see it (the marker). I was thinking the next time I went back I would do this, but now I don't have to!! You touched my heart with your unselfish use of your time. Thank you for digitally preserving this. Don't feel like you don't have a life. I once drove from South Jersey to the tip of Long Island (a one day turn around trip with about 7-8 hours in a car) to visit cemeteries of dead ancestors to take photos of their headstones so that I could attach them to their profiles in my Ancestry.com pages. I feel a connection with them, as crazy as that sounds. Maybe the next time I visit a cemetery I will take more than pictures of just my ancestors and think of others who don't have access to their family's grave markers. Thank you for what you do!

Can you provide the source for your information about G W Newman? I have not found any records to tie G W Newman who married Cornelia Balch to the person who is buried in Arlington. If you have the source that would be great.

Hazel S Benton #41364822
Hi Stan,

Hazel was a 1st Cousin of mine. Her name should be Hazel S Carpenter Benton. Her Mother was Ethel Mae Sloan Carpenter ( #170938437). I knew her Mother (My Aunt) but never her. We lived parallel lives. Could you please adjust her name and link her to her Mother.

Thanks,

Dave Sloan

P. S. Thanks for providing her Memorial

Hi Stan,

Thanks so much for creating this memorial for Hugh L. Moore. He is my uncle (half-brother to my mother)and we have been out of touch with him for decades! Would love a photo of his memorial, which I have sent in a request for.

So you can update your memorial:
Birthdate: 15 June 1912
Death date: 10 Apr 1996

Thanks again!

Thank you very much for adding the bio note. I saw him play on a number of occasions. He is the only fiddle player who I ever saw break a string while playing.
