|William Hajny||Laura Alvina Murdock|
You entered a photograph under the gravesite of Laura Alvina Murdock on August 18, 2016 and noted that the back of the photo lists only “Laura’s Family.” Laura was my grandmother’s sister and I believe that I know the majority of the people on the photo.
Laura was born a Fagan with three sisters and a brother. The oldest sister was Anna Mamie, next was Emma (Jennie), then Laura and finally Bess. The photo includes: Back Row: Joe Smotherman (Husband of Anna Mamie), Laura, James Murdock (Husband of Laura), Marge (Erdmann) Hagberg (daughter of Emma), Hazel Erdmann (daughter of Emma). 3rd Row: Helen Murdock (step daughter of Laura and daughter of James), Unknown next person. 2nd Row: Emma (Jennie Fagan) Erdmann (sister of Laura), Anna Mamie (Fagan) Smotherman (sister of Laura), Elenor (Erdmann) Poborsky (daughter of Emma), Bessie (Fagan) Gregg (sister of Laura) 1st Row: Dorie and Chuckie Poborsky (children of Elenor).
The Smothermans, Bess and Augusta (mother of the four Fagan girls) Schmidt are all buried in the same area of the cemetery.
I would love to know where the photo came from. I have a number of old Fagan photo's, but have never seen this one.
Thanks for all your good work.
William (Bill) Hajny

You are so welcome. Incidentally, right beside William was Carmino (1875-1954)and Vincenza Allessio (1890-1962) on a double headstone. I photographed and posted it to their existing memorials here at Find A Grave. I was guessing that they were probably family as well. Have a great afternoon! Eileen

Your Frankie Steele is buried in the same cemetery as my great-grandfather. That is ironic. I photographed all the headstones when I was there about eight years ago and posted them on Find A Grave.

use the photo as you wish.

Got it. Thank you so much for your help.

I hate to ask this, but would it be possible for you to forward me the message that I sent you? I seem to have lost the Obituary and don't want to have to re-type it.
