I will be happy to transfer a memorial to a relative (most of the time, your husband's great aunt may be an issue, or your 6th greatgrandmother who you share with 645 other descendents). I also give you permission to use any photos I take for other geneological purposes, such as posting on, etc. You do not have permission, however, to use it on a duplicate entry that you made.

Just a note on photos: Pictures taken at the National Cemetery were taken during overcast days, which works better with my camera. Also, if you want to see a larger picture, click on the Photos tab at the memorial and you can read the enlarged one.

As another side note about photos, I took many photos straight on and found my reflection in many of them. I had to delete those and retake them. This is true for black, grey and sometimes red stones. That is why I take photos from an angle. Also, the pictures uploaded have to be 750 KB or less (600 x 800), so they are small. I don't clean the stones.

This from FAQs:
Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
You should not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so or you are the author of the obituary. Some obituaries that were published in 1922 or earlier are now in the public domain. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family with assistance from the funeral home. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed for example "Published in the Hattiesburg American, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Internet Edition, April 11, 2007". Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives in the biography, unless you have their permission. If you do not have permission to copy an obituary to a memorial, you may put a note stating the name of the newspaper and the date the obituary was published.
Please do NOT add photographs from obituary notices (unless you, personally took the photo), as they are protected by copyright law. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices and photographs from memorial records. Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave as the newspaper company owns that copyright.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

Thank you so much for updating the children of my grandparents, William & Sara Forsyth, in the Newtown, Bucks Co, cemetery. I really appreciate it.

Alice Norma Clark
Hi Becky,
I hope you are well. I just submitted edits for Alice Norma Clark's memorial in Newtown Cemetery. I found her death certificate on Ancestry, and it says she was born on March 28 1928 rather then 1927. It says she only lived 2 months and 3 days. Please accept the edits. I am not related to her at all. But I know that she was the infant daughter of my dad's step grandmother and her first husband.

Thank you!

John F. Flood
Hi Rebecca,

Thank you for your work here! I wanted to ask for an update on my grandfather's grave. John E. Flood is actually John F. Flood if you look closely at this gravestone. His middle name is Francis. Anyway, if you could update that, I'd be greatly appreciative. I'd also be interested in taking over that site if you are able to make a transfer. # 154547639

Thanks so much!

I was mostly sending it to you in case you wanted to use the information (Mostly the date of death, maiden name, and "beloved mother of James P. (Gail), Michael J. (Susan) and Marianne Kilbridge (William); also survived by one brother, James Maguire, one sister, Catherine Fanning, 6 grandchildren and one great granddaughter."), I am sorry for the confusion!

RE: Transfer Request
I recently found out why the name probably changed. I know from talking to my grandmother that their family was originally Scottish, and then they emigrated to Northern Ireland. They more than likely changed their name from Kirkpatrick to Kilpatrick to assimilate into the new land. Then when they emigrated to the USA they changed their name back to the original name. So... Kirkpatrick is probably the correct last name. Thank you for the transfer! I appreciate your help.

Hi Becky,

Would you please transfer #60079984 Robert Elmer Dumont to me? He was my maternal grandfather.

Thank you, Sara

Hi Becky
Hi Becky,
I was following some of the genealogy for our family and I think you might have forgotten two of Nana's siblings. Her sister Aunt Sara from Latrobe married to uncle Jerry Gerard and "baby Marie" as Nana called her. She died in infancy from spinal meningitis.

Birth order

I cant think of Aunt Sara's middle name. I know my Mother knows. I'll ask her or Aunt Jeanne. They may know Marie's middle name as well.
