We are all travelers in time. Some travelers will have a long journey; others may have a short journey. Some travelers may pass like strangers in the night....unnoticed. FindAGrave gives us the wonderful opportunity to list and honor those that have passed on before us. It is beautiful that each contributor and visitor can obtain and share something different from the FindAGrave experience. I will not leave an epitaph on a grave stone for myself...but write an epitaph during my life to be shared it in the hearts and minds of those that I may have touched their life in some unique way.|

The photo that you've pasted on memorial 46028156 is on the wrong memorial. The stone in the photo is from Section 37 Lot 808. I was there today photographing the rest of the stones of the Smith family & I have this exact photo. Would you please post this photo to the correct memorial: 46028158. I posted a copy of the lot map; showing the location of Oscar, Paul & Alice's grave.
Any question, please feel free to email me.
|William Morrissey||Drucilla' picture|
I recieved this about the image of Drucilla and husband. Aug 25, 2017
I have talked with several people about this photo including Donnie Campbell and others. He sent me a photo of D. Y. Lyttle that he had, but the only thing that photo has in common with the T. T. photo is that they both have a beard. The facial features are quite different.
Several of us here at the historical society are direct descendants of the Lyttles and Garrards...
We’re sure this is T. T. We have two photos where he is wearing two different coats both with the shoulder boards and stars showing his rank as a Brigadier General. I can email them to you if you will send me your email. I believe D. Y. was a member of the Clay County Home Guard.
Also, the Camp Wildcat Preservation Foundation uses the photo as their official photo of T. T. Garrard on their interpretive signage at the Camp Wildcat Battlefield site where he led the 7th Kentucky.

You are welcome, I always prefer that any memorial I own be with family.
I have transferred her to your care as you requested. Have a great day!

To C Scott,
Would you transfer ROBERT I BOURNE (Find A Grave #174010963) to me?
I am a friend and classmate of his. I also am the historian for Ben Davis High School Class of 1954.
