Pamela, I am writing you requesting permission to use your photo's for memorial numbers 34747177
and 34747174 to use with my genealogy and post on Ancestry and Family search. I will wait to hear from you. Thank you for posting these memorials.
Thank you for the Edits/Links, and for all the work you do here at Find a Grave, it is a lasting gift to so many people. Best wishes to you.
You have this person as Rachel LEMLEY Parks.
Can you tell us where that last name Lemley came from or what documentation exists to show this maiden name? I also found her daughter's death certificate and the mother is listed as Rachel Fouley Parks. I'd like to try to figure out more about her. She's my 3rd great grandmother.
I meant Louise Beatty with an "e"

Every so often we visit our aunts grave at the county home gravesite in Sligo. My sister in law is into Geneology and she looked up Louise this year and found that in 2007 a woman named Isabella L Beatty had been attributed to my aunt' grave for some reason. When you put in Isabella Beatty into Find A Grave, there are two positions. One, that correctly states she was buried in the New Bethlehem cemetery and a newer addition that states she is now taking my aunt Louise's spot! Isabella died 100 years or so before Louise Beatty. Louise was the product of a rape. When her mother married a few years later Louise lived with them of course but both her mother and step father died and she was sent to the county home as a child. My father was a baby and was adopted out so it is important to us that her grave remain her own.
Please contact me so we can resolve this issue. Thank you very much!

|Susan Moskaly||TWO Thomas Parsons, Clarion Cty, PA|
On Ancestry.com, I've been doing a lot of work recording my Parsons ancestors on my tree. I've learned that there were TWO Thomas Parsons (first cousins) who both lived in Clarion County around the same time. By carefully studying census records and other supporting documents available on Ancestry, I've come to the conclusion that you and others got the two Thomas Parsons' mixed up.
Thomas Parsons (#110148884), my 3rd-great grandfather, lived from 1802 to the mid-1880s, and married Margaret Meredith. I am pretty sure his father was John Parsons.
The other Thomas Parsons (#113715803) was born around 1808 and died around 1877. His father was David Parsons (about 1775-1869). His wife was Jane Craig Sayers (#110148889) and his son was David Henry Parsons (#142917682).
Both of the Thomas Parsons apparently lived in Limestone Township, Clarion County, PA.
I believe Jane Craig Sayers (#110148889) is linked to the wrong Thomas Parsons as her spouse on FindAGrave. And David Henry Parsons (#142917682) is linked to the wrong Thomas Parsons as his father on FindAGrave. Since you are the contributor for these two people, would you be willing to review this and correct it if you agree?
If you are on Ancestry.com, I can give you information on my tree if you want to see my supporting documents and sources.

Thank you for all the time you have spent with this family as it helped me to straighten out some of the complications. (Some I still have not.)
Ellen Leanore McCann Young Find A Grave #73912315 is buried as Leanore McCann Young (she married William J. Young Apr 10, 1882 which you have and they had daughter Ruby Young) Mr Young died and Leanore married Charles Kent March 17, 1886, they had daughter Mary Lenora Kent. Leanore died in 1886.
Charles Kent them married Emma Knox (the Emma on his tombstone) December 4, 1887 in Noble Co. Ohio. She is the daughter of Alfred and Margaret Davis Knox. Emma and Charles had two children: Rose and George. Your dates on Charles are corrected. He died in 1949. BUT I can not find a death record for Emma, nor do I know where she is buried.
If this is not clear please e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for all your help.

First - thanks again for all the work that you do!
I have send requests for the addition of his parents (Ezra and Almay McKee). It looks like he was married and divorced from Elizabeth (Ginn) McKee. They had several children, which I am still sorting out via birth records on familysearch.org. What I found is somewhat a mess, so it will take some time.
The following is from; History of Noble County, Ohio: With Portraits and Biographical Sketches of some of its Pioneers and Prominent Men , Publisher L.H. Watkins, Year 1887, page 500.
"Hon. Ezra McKee was one of the best and most influential citizens of the Noble County, the establishment of which he was among the foremost in securing. He was born in Washington County in 1802, and came to the county with parents.
In 1825 he married Abbie Westcott and purchased the farm adjoining the old homestead. His children by this union were Delia (Davis), Martha (Poling), David and Sylvester, all living. His wife died in 1836 and he married Almay Westcott, a cousin of his first wife. She was one of the early school school-teachers of the county. To them were born four children – Manly, who died when one year old; Mary (Newton), deceased; Christopher and Manly."
Have a great day!!!
