Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born and raised in Northern Ohio. I got hooked on genealogy as a child listening to my Grandma tell stories about her family and my Grandpa's family. I started putting it all in a notebook as soon as I could write. That was over 50 years old now. Boy time can fly when you are having fun.

I love taking walks in Old Cemeteries and taking pictures of interesting graves.

Any pictures I have added may be used freely. But please do give me credit for taking them or adding the FAG. Thanks and I will try to do the same for those I use you have posted.

Transfers: I will be happy to transfer any of memorial I maintain that is not related to my family.

We are now retired and living FULL TIME in our RV. Loving the life on the road. Sometimes WFI is not always available so it sometimes may take longer for corrections to be made.

Happy Hunting
A few families of interest for me:
Bihlmaier - Bitter - Blue - Devol - Haynes - Lambert - Loebrich - Lucas - Snell - Veon and so many more.

Kathie Heller
correction for Lawyel Thompson
Hi Sarah Thanks for all you do for the Find A Grave community. I wanted to suggest a correction for the grave of Lawyel Thompson, Find A Grave Memorial# 14117986. He is the husband of my 2nd great aunt, Betsey Smith. I found his will on FamilySearch catalog, signed in 1840 and proved in October 1844. So I think the date you have for his birth, 1844, is actually his date of death.
Thank you. Kathie Irwin Heller

I go back and delete the photo of the obit as they are not to be allowed in that section. I only add the photo in case no one will copy and paste them on the site.

RE: Mina Powell
Thnaks for the reply. I have looked high and low for anything on her, but nothing. I have a child's photograph of her, but she is identified as "Mina Powell". Stu

Mina Powell

Have you ever come across a Mina Powell. Would have been born after 1855 but before 1880. Stu

RE: James & Rebecca Powell
It actually came from a Hinamon album. We are in the process of scanning the entire album, then the family that owns the album will be donating it to the Marion County Historical Society becuase it represents such a wide swath of Marion County families.

Margaret Dunlap Waltz

Margaret is my 4th great grandmother on my mother's side. I was wondering if you have been able to find from which county in Ireland she was from by chance?

-Thank you,

James & Rebecca Powell
Hi Sarah, I have a bit of exciting news for you. I have come across a CDV-Album of pictures that a family member had. Included in that album are pictures of James and Rebecca Powell, one as early as 1860. I will be posting them to their memorials today! stu

Devol - Sprague photo pre 1897
Hello, I've been looking at Devol/Sprague relatives and noticed several where you've posted photos. If this is your family you might be interested in the photo I've just added for Sally Farnsworth # 53513111. I came across it in my grandmothers things... a family photo taken before 1897 of Sally and her daughters family....Mary Powers Devol Sprague and her husband...Deacon Seaman Sprague.

Sue, I see you posted the photo of the Military Monument at this cemetery. Did you document the headstones around that monument in the circle? I understand that one may be a Bourdo. If you didn't, is there a list somewhere?
