I got into genealogy with the 5th grade history project. When I was a teenager, I used it for a Girl Scout badge. It wasn't until 1992 and the death of my remaining grandparents that I started doing genealogy seriously. Only some of my stuff is in the computer. I have a lot in notebooks and folders still!! I also have photos I've taken over the years with my film camera that still need scanning and uploading to their memorials.

Some of my entries are for collateral lines and a few are just some miscellaneous photos I took. If you see an entry that is your family, let me know so I can have the memorial transferred to you :)

I recently acquired a digital camera. Since many people have taken tombstone photos for me, I thought I'd return the favor. I carry scissors, whisk broom, water, and towels to try to get the best shot for you. I have Photoshop and will try to enhance the picture the best that I can. And if it can't be enhanced, I'll go back and retake the picture on my next trip to the cemetery. I always look around for other family members and take a picture of them as well. Besides, walking around in a cemetery the sun in California is a great way to lose weight!
