We live in the Kansas City, Missouri area. My husband has family in Mississippi and North Carolina (PRUITT, IRVING, SMITH, PATRICK). My family is mostly from Illinois and Kansas (HARTENBOWER, POWELL, SIMMONS, LANE). We try to include a cemetery stop or two on every trip we make.

I've been visiting local cemeteries in the Jackson County, MO area and taking photos. If no memorial exists I'll go ahead and enter one so I can post the pictures.
