Yes. Burton Curtiss was my father's cousin. Burton's father was George who was the brother of my grandfather Homer. Both of them sons of William Goss Curtiss and Lora Belle (Giller) Curtiss.

Thanks for your response. I was not aware of the Swallow reunion. Originally from Illinois, I now live in Georgia. I'll keep it in mind. Thanks!

Not long ago you posted a photo on the memorials for Cash Lewis (#78246638) and his wife, Sarah Jane Cavender Lewis (# 78246962). Are you related to either of those families? If so, I would be interested in sharing information. I am tracing the Cavenders, and Sarah Jane would be the niece of my great-grandmother Nancy Cavender Gilreath (#73159840). I can be reached via Find A Grave (member #47542496) or e-mail, firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks! Paul Corbitt

I would say that no one in our line would have any pictures as our line ended up going out west, first to Utah, then California, back to Nevada and then back into Utah. So I would be surprised if any of them even know about your line.
Eugene Eunison Craw, that did the first work on the Craw's in America, is also a 4th cousin 4x removed to me. I took his work as a base for my work and when I finished working on my line I started branching out to all of the Uncles and Aunts lines. If I remember correctly Eugene knew about 3 migrations of Craw's to the US and writes about them in is letters. So far I have been able to find 5 additional lines that came to the US. But one of those lines is not and will not be linked via DNA as that line came from Norway or Sweden and took the name Craw to make themselves more American.

You sent a messages to Helen Craw, 46984227, asking her if she was a member of the Craw family of Sadorus, Illinois area. Did you ever get an answer from her? From what I can tell she is no longer active. If not, she is the wife of a first cousin to me and yes we are somewhat distant cousins.
Not sure which Craw in Sardorus you are interested in, but to show you how Helen’s husband and I are linked to the Craw’s there James Waller Craw b: 23 Nov 1864 in Sadorus, d: 3 Feb 1927 in Portland, Jay, Indiana and is buried in the Craw Cemetery, is a 4th cousin 4x removed.

I was looking up old notes and found one from you from 2011. I am a little behind HAHA. Any info on Dawson's of Clark County would be very appreciated. I am sorry it took so long to answer. My GGG-GP were Chistopher and Lydia Bridwell Dawson. Thank you for contacting me. Marsha
