Currently researching Historic Riverside Cemetery Denver - adding plot info to exisiting memorials and adding missing memorials with photos if and when available.|
My Nebo - Aurora, CO - All sections walked and memorials added as of Dec 2014, continue to add memorials and photos.
I am a Records and Archives Manager as a profession, therefore I WORK full time as well as volunteer...be patient with your requests, as I will get to the as soon as possible. Correction requests are reviewed PRIOR to my accepting them (its just not automatic).....don't get me wrong...I truly appreciate any help....after all, its this s TEAM effort???!!
I volunteer my time to help complete and document the histories and information of our cemeteries and graveyards. In my many walkings and wanderings... I have noticed the many missing records and photos from the Find A Grave site. I will be working to help correct those missing memorials
I will transfer memorials as requested to family members, so please don't hesitate to ask for any transfers.
I'm very happy for a loved one to care for their loved ones memorial!!!
If I mess up or do something incorrectly, please remind me gently, so I can make any corrections , as we all make mistakes...
Don't be a stinker and DEMAND or berate...there is not a need for that kind of behavior on this site.
I am very happy to make those corrections, but I will NOT be harassed, and you will be reported to F.A.G
Should a family member wish to have a grave stone photo removed or a memorial removed for privacy concerns, please, please...let me know. I do not want to offend or cause any issues for anyone. Again, this does take a bit of time...so don't freak out if I don't respond "Johnny on the spot" actions.
Thank to all volunteers on F.A.G....this is how I was able to locate "missing" family members...some that I never had the honor to meet.

You are incredible. Thank you for this quick information. I am researching his family because he was a Gilpin County Judge back in the 1890's. I got in contact with his gggranddaughter (Peg) and suggested that she enter these memorials since she knew they were all buried at Riverside. As far as I know this is the first time she has contributed to Find a Grave, so you really helped make her experience very rich.

My cousin spoke with Ray at the cemetery yesterday and said that Grand shares a large stone with his mother Sarah A Brown (Sarah Ann Perry Mahon Brown). I have added the memorial for Grant and updated his mother. Just need photo of the "large" stone according to Ray at the cemetery.
Thanks so much,

Robin, I am sorry my wording confused you..there is only one baby Emanuel and he was moved from the Pioneer Cemetery to Congregational Emanuel when Pioneer went through redevelopment. Even though there was a slight variation in the plot number, he's the same little guy. Will you please add the transfer information to his memorial. I am attempting to document those transfers so the history might be more complete.

Thank you. I have changed the cemetery to Fort Morgan. That is where her parents are buried as well.
Any chance that your records show Elizabeth Katherine Spadi Debus (175480807) and her husband Henry buried in this cemetery in Denver? Their infant daughter is buried there and I have entered the parents memorials there this past week as well. Will be requesting photos soon.
Thank you again for you help.
It's all making sense now. I will remove my memorial for S. Appel.

Thank you for asking about this memorial. I knew I had probably gotten the info from JOWBR, but when I went to double check, I couldn't find S. Apple anywhere in Colorado, let alone Mt. Nebo! After some digging around, I discovered my mistake - I made a typo in the last name. It's actually S. Appel - I have corrected the spelling in the memorial. If you're looking, you'll see S. Appel in the plot locator of Mt. Nebo, and in JOWBR.
Thanks for being a second set of eyes in making these records accurate! ~Pam
