I was born in Pierce County Georgia, the daughter of Vernon Mount Thornton and Ella Maxine Liles. I love doing family history and meeting new friends and relatives. My husband, Jerry and I have 8 children all grown and away from home. We have 16 grandchildren at present and three beautiful great granddaughters. |
Since I put this on I now have a handsome great grandson.
I think find a grave web page is great and I appreciate all the folks that contribute.
Just this year 2009 there has been a granddaughter added and two great granddaughters. The family continues to grow.

Hello, Thank you for the transfer of Martha over.
Glad to have her back in the family and I can make all the connections.

To link deceased children, please do that through their individual memorials. To add names without links, that can be done through the edit tab.

This cemetery has only four (4) people buried there and these folks, are all kin to my husband. And I have researched this cemetery. Could you please tell me where is the location of the sign/photo that you have listed? I don't want come across as being a harsh person and actually I am just as calm as a kitten. I would be open to suggestions/sources, just let me know.
Thanks for your contributions to Find A Grave.

There is a fine line with the location relating to this cemetery. It could be in Appling Co. as well as Wayne Co. And that reason is why I have it in Appling Co., GA.

Lanette, was that cemetery known as the old Daniel Kirkland cemetery? I don't remember a Thornton cemetery there but I'm not too familiar with K'ville. I may need to ride over there and get the GPS coordinates and a photo or two.

It was my pleasure.

Can you send me a link to both or at least tell me the cemetery please.
|Reavis||William Henry Dixon 53645202, Ramah Cemetery, Pierce Co. Ga.|
I am unable to reconcile William H. Dixon to be the son of Nathan Dixon in Ramah Cemetery, born 1844. The father would have been only 15 years old.
Please consider Nathan A. Dixon, in Enon Cemetery, Pierce County, Georgia as a possible father of William H. (Wife Harriett Williamson)
William H. is listed in the memorial's 1870 Census, as being 9 years old, and the parents are of the proper age.
Please let me hear what you think.
