Bio and Links
Bio Photo Find A Grave is such a wonderful project and I am so proud to be a part of it. The main object was to find my relatives plus my husband's and to update and add information on local cemeteries near Cincinnati (Old Union) which is my home town. The Westville, OK area is also near where I now live and I try to update and add connection to these persons plus research interesting people. I am not into this for the numbers but for the memories and people who are buried. They should not be forgotten.

Hi, Glenita.

I think we have spoken before about the headstone you posted. I live in Benton County Arkansas and would like to find Giles's headstone. I think you told me eons ago that your father took that photo. Do you happen to know which cemetery we was buried in? Wallace is an historic town which is now Gravette, AR. There are 10 cemeteries near Gravette, and I'm having a hard time finding him. I live about 20 minutes away. From what I've gathered, it is located in Wallace (historic name), Benton County, AR. Is that correct? If you can give me any further info, I'd love to find the stone and re-post a current phote with the site all cleaned up.

Thanks so much,
Cousin Patti Crayne Trudell
(I was the one that posted Giles in his elder years on Find-a-Grave.com)

RE: Peden Family
It is my feeling that the "virtual Cemetery does the job of preservation. There are many cemeteries that are disappearing or have disappeared. A lot of work has gone in to preservation.
My grand parents are interred in the Peden cemetery in Cincinnati.
i am thankful for the Virtual.

Just a suggestion
Please link Margaret "Loree" Gilbert with James David "JD" Gilbert and family. Her number is 98690066. For some reason she did not at first appear on findagrave. Thanks so much, Genie

RE: Trip to Oklahoma
Thank you Glenita......I was able to leave flowers and a note, again, thanks to you. I will check into a gravestone for him. I plan to travel out there from California on Labor Day weekend with my son. I will contact the Chalk Bluff cemetery staff and find out what the process involves. It makes me sad to know he has no gravestone. With much appreciation, Julie

RE: Trip to Oklahoma
Hello Glenita...how kind of you to respond with such wonderful support. I welcome any help I am able to get in order to connect with my family. My mother, Kathleen Walkingstick (passed away when I was 6)
and her brother, James Walkingstick (their father was Calvin Walkingstick) from Baron married a Howard brother and sister:George Howard, my father, and Yvoone Howard. Their father was Percy Paul Howard, brother to Frank S. Howard, business man from the Baron area.

I am researching both Howard and Walkingstick families. I was placed in many different homes in California after my mother's passing. I have had little contact with my Oklahoma relatives. I found a date of 1945 for my Grandfather Calvin Walkinstick's death, but am unable to locate his grave.

I appreciate your offer to transfer the grave info. to me, but I much prefer you continue for now.

Please feel free to give my email address to anyone you feel appropriate.
I respect the privacy of everyone and would never want to be intrusive in anyway.

I send much peace and love to your heart. I appreciate all you are doing:)
