I noticed that the large family tombstone seems to be in Florida, although the family is buried in McKinney, Texas. Can you share the story? Very interesting! I am a descendant, anxious to find out about my family.

Thank you so much for once again contributing information for one of my memorials. I so enjoy adding as much information as possible so these folks will have their just acknowledgement of the time they spent in this world. I was able to use your information to learn more and link him to some of his other family members also.

I think you should eliminate the reference to a now non-existing second memorial to his wife.

I wish I could give you an accurate answer. His parents (as well as a few other members of the family) are unrecorded by 1880. Probably some illness. I would guess they are in the Hoodoo Cemetery or Burk Cemetery. I am continuing to look. If I come across something definitive I will let you know.

You have his grandparents listed as his parents. His parents were Duane and Nancy (EARP) DUNCAN
