I have been involved in my family genealogy research since 1979. We come from all over, Canada, England, Ireland, Germany as well as throughout the US.
The family surnames that I am researching are: Barrett, French, Flesher, Oliver, Moutray, Kirk, Fish, Vanskiver, Radford, Dunn and New. Give me a hollar if any of those are familiar to you!
I am NOT a professional genealogist. I am willing to help those with questions or perhaps direct them to someone that might help, if possible.
I have a lot of photographs that still need to be added to local cemeteries. As time permits, these will be loaded.
Good luck and happy family hunting!

Thank you, I appreciate it!

I am researching the army history of my paternal grandfather, Gunder Anderson. He served in Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the National Directory of the 355th Infantry Association, Ambrose Barney Casey also served in this unit.
His gravestone however shows he served in HQ Company, 7th Army Corps. Since transfers obviously can take place, I can reasonably assume he may have been transferred between the two units mentioned above.
I'm not certain where I'm headed with my project, but I want to eventually publish something. With your permission, I would like to use your photograph of the gravestone of Ambrose Barney Casey (Find A Grave Memorial# 57977397). Please let me know if this is acceptable.

I am so sorry. I have a large list and checked off the wrong name. I have a request in at Forest Lawn to see if they can locate the memorial before I go down and look. So sorry. I can still go look if you want.

You are welcome, it was my pleasure.

You're very welcome, Denise. Luckily, Mary's plaque was low enough so I could get a "straight-on" shot!

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to documentation, Glen Harper Carothers was a member of this unit.
I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with my project, but I want to eventually publish something. So, with your permission, I would like to use your photograph of the grave of Glen Harper Carothers (Find A Grave Memorial# 57977351). Please let me know if this would be acceptable.
Thank you, I appreciate your time.
