RE: James M Lea
Thanks so much for the link to the Lea Cemetery. I am in awe to the information I have been able to find on ancestors who moved west and south of NC in the very early 1800's. I am especially thankful to those who have taken the time to enter all of these old stones and extra information on the families or history of the families. For many of my early family researchers this information just wasn't obtainable, so I feel very blessed to solve the mystery as to where did they go and what happened to them. Thanks again for taking the time to send this link to me, it means so much.

RE: James M Lea
Thank you so much for allowing me to use your photos, you have no idea how much this means to me. I was not aware of another Lea Family cemetery. Do you know if it if found on findagrave.com? Making the links to these long lost relatives who moved away from NC is so amazing and I am just in awe of it all. I to do some photo work for findagrave but my health has prevented me from doing to much as of late. SO I spend time linking families together, to help those who are also searching from relatives. Thanks again for all that you do.

There is no way to express how happy I am to see all of these Lea family headstones. This family was unknown to me until I began my extensive family research. His mother Sarah was orphaned in GA when she was a little girl. Her uncles in NC my direct ancestors and her grandmother were guardians for her and her siblings. The GA families who moved in very early 1810 were not known well by the NC descendants. So great to have actual names and dates to go with my research. These photos are priceless to me. Thanks so much for all you do.

You list one of her husbands as Jack Pleasant which should be listed as Pleasant Jack, b. 1829 in Alabama. Thank you.
