Bio and Links
Bio Photo My paternal family names are Stephens, Carter, Daniel, Stovall, O'Neill, Caraway, Talley and Jones (mostly TX, GA and TN).

My maternal names are Frisino and Genovese (immigrants from Italy 1880s), Drane and Barry (immigrants from Ireland/England 1840s-1890s). The Frisino and Drane families settled in the Baltimore, MD area.

I am also researching Jewish families White and Ruttenberg (immigrants from Russia/Poland 1870s-1900). These families settled mostly in New York and Chicago. Strauss (Latvia to England); Roland and Gicht (Poland to England). These families settled mostly in France and England.

I want to thank Find A Grave and all the friends I have met here who have found family members for me across the country. Without you I would probably never have found the information I now have for my children and future generations.

RE: Ella Virginia Cousins Keith Hageman # 43220890
Can't find that I ever replied to your question. Here is all I know about Great Grandma Ella. She married my Gr. Granddpa James Henry Keith in 1893 in D.C. Since he worked in naval shipyards, they moved all up & down the eastern seaboard. After he died in 1910, she became a saleswoman for the Butterick pattern co. She married Harry Hageman in 1916 in Hamilton (or Butler), Ohio. Don't know what happened then except that in the 1930 census, she was shown as the wife of John Williams Slack. I know she died in 1935 but don't know where. If you have any other info on her, I'd love to have it. Is she an ancestor of yours? BTW, I'm the granddaughter of Ella's daughter Emily.

I just discovered there's a message section on Find A Grave so just saw your message. Unfortunately, I don't have much info but think she died in 1935. BTW, her middle name was Virginia. Her daughter, Emily Virginia was my mom's Mom.

Hi there!

I believe this person is my cousin:

and it would appear from a tribute you left on her findagrave memorial you knew her. Do you know what her last husband “Knox”’s first name was or any details about that marriage?

Thanks so much

Hi Barb. Sorry I don't have info on when/where my Great Grandma died. Her daughter, my Grandma Emily died when I was 19 & not much into family history yet. Guess - might have been somewhere in the New York state area. Only story I remember about her - after the death of her husband James, she became a saleswoman for the Butterick Pattern Co. Side note story - Ella's sister Regina married Andrew Hoetzel. After Regina's death, he married Ella's daughter Emily & became my step Grandpa. Are you a relative?

RE: White Rock Cemetery, Ross
Good morning, Barb,

Give me a couple of weeks or so, and let me see what I can find out at the local genealogy library in Waco. They have several books about the cemeteries in McLennan County. Also I go to church near Ross, so might be able to slip over to White Rock and do a little browsing.

Take care,

Hello! I am trying to find out some information. On Lena and George, are their children Kate, George and Elizabeth?

Thank you!

RE: Larry Drane
Yes.... he was. It is hard to believe that he is gone. He was a rare find. Such a wealth of knowledge and fact to back it up! I will let you know what I find out.

RE: Larry Drane
Hi Barb. I have been wondering the same thing. Let me talk to Fransico about it. I have been going to but wanted Fransico to have his time. Maybe that time is now? Nice to meet another relative. Larry was amazing. I loved him a lot. He was so kind and genuine. Not like some of the crazies that crawl out when you meet family! He was a real honest decent person. Just amazing. I miss him!
