Bio Photo I am a Fellow of the Manchester & Lancashire Family History Society and a member of the Society of Genealogists. I live near Stockport, Cheshire, England. I visit Manchester Central Library most weeks and can do look-ups there. I am also willing to visit cemeteries in the Greater Manchester area and take photographs of headstones, provided the grave number is known.

Hi, thank you for the information.
Regarding the one for Thomas Sanderson, i'm not sure if you read the Bio for him, but it's such a sad story and to be fair I was very surprised that he was buried in a churchyard at all. He and his lover commit suicide in a field by drinking carbolic acid. He was only early 40's and his loves 20's. Both were married to others so i'm assuming they couldn't be together. So sad :(

Thank you so much for your efforts. Through my family research I found that Oswald was a distant relative.

Of course, I am sad and disappointed that there is no headstone. I was hoping to discover if Oswald married as I could find no record of a marriage. Perhaps the fact that he had no headstone might indicate that he did not have any immediate family.
