I will be glad to make changes, corrections, or add new material if you send the information along on the edit tab.|
Please don't add obituaries or death certificates in the photo area of memorials I have posted as it leaves no room to add personal pictures or grave photos. I will be glad to add additional information in the bio area if you will just send it to me.
Thanks so much.

Are you related to John Thomas Smith? I am related to this family too.

|Rich Vance||Lost suggest-a-correction?|
I sent you an "other" bio suggest-a-correction through the Edit tab on May 6 for John Shearer in Ohl Cemetery.
Did it escape your attention or perhaps get re-routed to your spam folder or just plain got lost in the "ethers of the interwebs"? ^_^
John was a veteran of WW I (not WW II).
He enlisted 6/7/1918 in DuBois as a Private in the Coast Artillery and later transferred to 14th Co, 4th Bn, 153rd Depot Brigade. He served overseas from 10/7/1918 to 2/14/1919 and was honorably discharged at demobilization on 2/22/1919.
He was employed for many years as a welder at Erie Iron Works, retiring in 1967. He married Vernon Wagner Rankin (the widow of Ira Rankin) on 12/23/1972. He was a member of Miller's Station Methodist Church, American Legion Post 285 of Waterford, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars post 470 of Erie. He passed away at the V.A. Hospital in Erie.
WW I Veteran's Compensation Application
& Obituary (paraphrased & re-written to remove names of living).
|Bryan Vanshur||Robert M White|
I just submitted an edit to add Robert's middle name. His mother, Matilda, was my 2x great grandfather's sister. Thanks :)
|P Solida||Related? Transfer?|
Please add Bessie D. and William C. Solada in Rimersburg to the list. Psolida@gmail.com

I have quite a bit to add to Alice Sarah Stitt, my great grandmother, as well as her Husband Adison. Also in Rimersburg my grandfather, son of Alice by a previous marriage to a John Solada, also sons John H. H. Soliday, William Christian Soliday, Ernest Soliday, and many others. My Mother and father are beside Oren. They are Ralph Harison and Jennie Louise Solada (Solida) I note that you have memorials for several of them and others in this line. I will ask if you are related. Know Oren used to mention several Smith families in the area. If so I can send you several info updates, or if not or do not want to, you may want to transfer as I have a good amount of info on each. TYVM for your time and effort and if you want to email for ease of communication, mine is firstname.lastname@example.org

Thank you for the transfer. :)
|Kitty L.||RE: Henry Kuglar|
I found Henry Kuglar thru his second wife, Lola Mae Lanier, whose second husband was a Sinnett, the line I am researching. The info I gathered is on FamilySearch.org; here's the link: https://familysearch.org/tree/person/LZJ5-WN1/details ... I hope this helps.

|Bryan Vanshur||Dillon Worth Reed|
I just submitted an edit for Dillon to link him with his parents. I got the information from Ancestry.com. I am distantly related to Dillon through his mother, Lizetta Smith Reed. Have a great day. :)
|Thomas Wensel||RE: emails-memorials in Clarion Cemetery|
Out of curiosity, you said that "some of the suggestions are impossible" - could you at least provide one example so I can check it out and understand why what was suggested is impossible?
Maybe that will help me with the others that are currently open.
Thanks so much.
|Thomas Wensel||Edit Corrections|
Just a follow-up. Maybe to clarify something, you do know that I do not have your personal e-mail.
When I send a "Suggestion Edit" Find A Grave actually sends that suggested edit to your personal email. I never see your e-mail address, only internal to Find A Grave is that "Suggestion Edit" send to you.
The other Edits (Name, Dates, Plot, etc.) are sent in a similar manner.
The only way I have of communicating edits, like duplicate memorials, or similar changes, is through the "Suggested" Edit link.
Its Find A Grave that has your e-mail to forward the suggestion. You must be receiving them since I did have one Contributor that is inactive and has disconnected his e-mail - in that case I got a failure notice that the Suggestion could not be send from Find A Grave.
Would love to work with you on the remaining memorials in question for the Clarion Cemetery. Thanks so much.
