Thank you very much for your helping others through your work with Find A Grave. TO me and those in my position who no longer because of age and health can visit cemeteries, it especially means a lot. I am working very hard on my family files trying to get as much as I possibly can and get it verified on them so that my descendants and others related can see their heritage.
I hope you won't mind my using copies of your photos for my family files.
May God bless you in all you do to help others.

William Mills Cemetery
I noticed your note on the William Mills Cemetery page for Mourning Mills Lewis. Just to reassure you, the cemetery is not on the property of the gated community. The cemetery is on private property behind the cemetery. It is set aside in the deed with right to egress and ingress. But, one should contact the property owner first as it is at the back of his apple orchard and if he is spraying or harvesting it would not be safe to visit. Also one must pass through his yard and he has children, so setting up day and time is always best.

thank you for the pictures. I did not think we would ever find them. I am 77 years old and this is the best thing I could find, thanks to you. Bev

McFarland grave picture
Thank you so much for the addition of the picture for William McFarland. He was my ggg grandfather and although I was born and raised in Shelby, I have never seen his stone! Now that I live in AL it is much harder. Appreciate your time and effort!

Ella J "Ellijay" Woodward Anderson
Hi! Back in Feb. 2011, you visited Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery looking for the grave memorial for Ella Anderson. I found it quite by accident recently, and appended the photo. You can go there by this link:

Duplicate Memorial
Hello, your memorial for Mae Ethelene Harrill Nolen has already been posted in two other locations. The original posting is file #32526625. A second posting is file #71612638. I am not related, but just letting you know of the duplication.

Margaret Neely & Matthew
Do you think Margaret Neely could have had a daughter named Rachel Neely? A Rachel Neely married James Tweed of Madison County, NC, and we're looking into the possibility that this Margaret and Matthew could be her parents.
