I have been doing genealogy for over 40 years. I have started to take pictures of area cemeteries (Waukesha County area) and I am trying to submit them to various sites. I also take picture when I go on vacation to other parts of the USA and Europe.

If anyone needs a photo (which has not been re-sized) or has any corrections or additions please let me know.

Lately I have been getting many, many transfer requests without the needed information. If anyone requests a transfer, use the EDIT tab and the transfer request must contain the following information: Relationship; Parents, Siblings, Grandparents And Great Grandparents (which does not include Aunts/Uncles/Cousins) and your Find-A-Grave Contributor Number. A transfer cannot be done without the contributor number. It takes up too much time for me to search out the above information.

My sister, Lois has been helping with the corrections and additions and also looking for obituaries. My sister, Julie is also helping with taking pictures.

Thanks Lenora. Looks like the rain stopped. It has just started here. Clouds are all the way across the Pacific to China and headed our way. Gloria

RE: John W. Trester
Yes, that would be fine. I didn't know how to handle that information and incorporate it into the site. Chris

John W. Trester
Hi, I am John's granddaughter. While doing genealogy research I found this grave site you have listed. Unfortunately, John is not buried there. He donated his body to the Wisconsin Medical College when he died and did not have a funeral. I did verify with Prairie Home Cemetery that he is not buried there. I know many people of that era (age) bought cemetery plots and stones far advance of their passing. Not sure how to update this information.

John's find a grave number: 109704162
birth: 10/14/1892
death: 11/30/1989

Thanks, Chris

Leisners in Lakeview
I located a few of your photo requests today in Lakeview Cemetery in Escanaba.
Right near the Leisner tall marker is a small marker that just says
Our Darling

Could this be a Leisner as well?

Let me know if what I sent doesn't work as efficiently. Have to leave now but will look back later.

Will do. Should have thought of that when I sent the other message. Give me a few moments.

Degrandgagnage - Our Lady of the Snows
All of the stone markers for this Sacred Cemetery have been gathered and placed in an array at one end of a grassy area. A local librarian explained that the graves were not disturbed. A plaque states: "No Recorded Burials 1860-1890." If you are certain Josephine and Francois rest here, I can put photos of the Plaque and the array of markers on their Memorials. Out of respect for this Holy place I did not attempt to clean or chalk any stone. This location is an Historical Belgium site with documentation on many boards.

RE: Hiram Howard
Please see the picture note, there is no stone for Howard, only his wives who died before he did.
