Bio and Links
Bio Photo We live in a small town in southeast Iowa and spend a lot of time in Graveyards and Cemeteries taking pictures, taking notes, just piecing the families together. Some of these Cemeteries are so old that there are not any other records of the people resting there. When these cemeteries go...so does that person's existence! We would like to thank all of you for your contributions to the preservation of these cemeteries. The peace and serenity found in these old cemeteries is our reward! If there is a memorial we have added, that is not in our family, we will consider a transfer of the memorial to you. Please use the Edit tab, Please do this on every memorial that you want transferred or a correction on and please include your ID number.
Thank You, Mo & Dave

This is the Memorial for my grandmother. The spelling of her name is not correct. Lord knows that no one could possibly know how to spell such a horrid name, but here goes.
Yulda Ella Roe Smith Feehan. I have also added a link to Yulda's mother.

While we are at it, I don't think you did any of my Dad's stuff, but that is another name that is hugely uncommon. Yguerra. Middle name, Thank God, so not used much.

Thank you so much for all the work you do. Not everyone loves cemeteries like us, apparently. They are wonderful places to visit, just for the peace, but the history is amazing.

Pantzer
Greetings

Fredricka Pantzer was my great great grandmother, her brother was Albert Pantzer born either 1845 or 1846. Fredricka was married either 3 or 4 times.

you can see more detail in the public tree

william & dora hartmeyer at Ancestry.com

There are more photos and history of our family there too much for an email. Originally I had an error and list her name as PANZER, which is wrong,
Its PANTZER.

this is NOT a AD for them,

please feel free to email me as you wish, John

Martha Lee, Henry County
I hate to ask this but do you have any additional information or know how I can get additional information on Martha Lee d. 23 Feb 1875 buried in Forest Home Cemetery? I am trying to find my great-grandmothers grave or any information on her. She lived in Taylor and Henry Counties Iowa and was married to Harrison Lee (my great grandfather) till sometime in 1870's when all records on her stopped and he returned to Indiana. They had 6 children and my grandmother Mary Jane Lee was 5th of 6 born in 1857 in Athelstan and Blockton and died in Indiana in 1914 married to Francis K. Porter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Waldrep
I live a couple of hundred miles away. You may find someone by contacting the Polk Co Genealogical Society. When we went to the Waldrep Cemetery, it was fenced in. We climbed over the gate and walked to the cemetery. It might not be very safe now. Someone from the genealogical society might know someone with a key.

RE: Howdy
Hi Mo an Dave, I m so glad to hear from you guys. finally got home the 6th of Dec, and am really enjoying being back home again. The wife and I are really liking the house since they did the remodeling. Makes it a lot easier for me to get around in the wheel chair. I hope that's just a temporary thing though. Ho you guys doing?
