Next to all the wonderful volunteers who will take tombstone photos, I especially like the new link functions and the lengths Findagrave has gone to respect both family and volunteers efforts to create significant memorials while still giving full credit to the original creators both in name and in numbers. Thanks Findagrave!
I would be remiss if I didn't also express my gratitude to ROAGK volunteers who have found burial places and have taken tombstone photos as well, incuring costs for which they get little or no credit.
My hat's also off to findagravers building memorials and virtual cemetery combinations providing a vehicle to greatly enrich other researchers. Their time, energy and expense are also very impressive.
Most but not all of the listings are my ancestral lines. If my family but your connection is closer I will be happy to transfer to you with a very few exceptions in which years of study and collecting documentation and conferring with other long time researchers and genealogists have proven that online family trees are rife with error concerning the individual. Peter Thomas Hull is one of those people.
Corrections or additional info is very welcome
PLEASE use the EDIT/SUGGESTION functions to request links so I don't have to try to read my own awful handwriting and take twenty minutes to do a one minute task. Please include the name of the person with the number. Typos happen.

Do you know any of his ancestors?
I noticed a JAMES GAULT ( - 1798), shown in your profile in findagrave. Could he be related?

|Kathryn Mereness||RE: Jacob W Smith|
Thank you for replying. He was Jacob W. Smith, born April 4, 1815 OH - c. 10 Jan 1874 Terre Haute, Vigo, IN. Jacob W. Smith was married to Mary Jane Hoagland in 1847 at Owen Co IN. Jacob and Mary Jane had a daughter, Harriet "Hattie" Smith who died 19 Feb 1874 in Terre Haute five weeks after the death of her father. On the page for Jacob W. Smith you posted Jacob's cause of death as Lung Fever. I am trying to find how anyone knows the cause of death since the Vigo Co Department of Health's records do not start until 1882. Thank you again.

Hello, Could you tell me how you know Jacob W. Smith died of Lung Fever in 1874? The only record I can find is a WPA listing with just a date of death, no cause listed. Jacob had a daughter who died within a month of his death so I'm wondering if they died of the same disease. Thank you. Kathryn Mereness
