I love to visit cemeteries and take photos to preserve our history. The main families I research are Flippo, Woodall, James, Hontz and Paterson.

If there are mistakes in what I have submitted, please bring it to my attention. Please use edit tab to do this. Will be glad to transfer memorials to you if they are your family. Please use the edit tab on the memorial to ask for the transfer and for any changes you wish me to make as per FAG guidelines.

Catherine Lucas Flippo
Hello Patsy,

Ethel Catherine " Catherine " Hemmer was first married to Frederick Delmas Lucas, after his death she remarried a __ Flippo. Mr. FLIPPO first name is unknown at this time, in her obituary it is not mentioned, her name in her obituary is as Catherine Lucas FLIPPO. She did not like her first name of Ethel. She is interred at Spring Hill Cemetery. As his Frederick Delmas Lucas.

I've submitted Edits for her through the Edit feature. If you're researching the surname FLIPPO maybe you will know of him.

She retired from St. Thomas Hospital with 27 years of service.

Thank You for creating her Memorial.

Thank You in your contributions to aiding other's in their search to family and friends.

Patsy, I did not mean to upset you about this. When I see duplicates (or triplicates) I try to send a message to one of them, just in case they have not realized that there is a duplicate.
In your case, I know you take care of business; so I thought you might not be aware a duplicate had been created.
Sometimes I send the message to the one that has created the duplicate; and that does not work well as most of the time the message is ignored. If I get a message of a duplicate, I am glad to delete mine; but others as you know don't seem to care.
My suggestion would be to contact Find a grave and explain the situation; usually it does not take long to get them merged and leave you with the original memorial, when you explain the situation like you did to me. If it doesn't work, keep trying until the issue is resolved. Yes, you should keep yours, and I did not mean to imply that you shouldn't. Sorry for any confusion.
