Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been transcribing cemeteries for a few years, many here in Somerset County, NJ.
I do a lot of research in Penna, both York County and Snyder County (family/college). I've begun to try to update a Snyder county book (Wagenseller) of Snyder County graves that was published about 1900, focusing on, but not exclusively, those cemeteries NOT included on the Snyder County website.

I am happy to transfer memorials to family members per Find A Grave rules. And if you are not directly related, I do updates once a week. Please use the Edit tab, once per memroial, and I'll add what ever information is appropriate and cite you as the source in the Notes section. PLEASE ONLY ONCE PER MEMORIAL - I cannot be responsible if your multiple requests do not go through, and lately there have been too many requests (multiple pages) to identify duplicate memorials. The issue has been that a subsequent request overwrites a prior request. Hopefully they will eventually fix that. Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks so much for the photo of my 3rd G-Grandmothers stone. It was probably difficult getting a good shot at that angel. You did a wonderful job and we all appreciate your time and effort to go to the cemetery.

Thanks Again

Re: Emma (Millette) Bastedo
Find A Grave Memorial# 25824943 (Emma Millette Bastedo) and
Find A Grave Memorial# 25824912 Aaron Bastedo
Thanks for the great memorials on this pair, I just discovered their site. They are somehow related to me, not sure how to date.
You wrote that you thought Emma must have been the second wife, you are correct, I found their marriage record in familysearch.org:
16 Oct 1889 Trenton, Mercer, NJ.
Just thought you might like to know you had the memorial correct.
THANKS again!

Abram Voorhees
Hi Steve,
I regret sending you edits piecemeal, but I'm discovering the limits both of FindAGrave and of my time. I do know that Abram Voorhees re-married after Adeline's death, but unfortunately I don't currently have any other information. I'm trying to tie all of the Stine family together, since they are my relatives. You are right in your note that there is a Stine connection for Harriet Emma Stine (Hoagland) as well. Harriet (Hoagland), Adeline (Voorhees), and Anna Louise (Gourley) were all sisters.
Thanks,
Rich

Amos Knouse 111062733
I was recently given a box of Knouse documents from his daughter Emma Shrawder, that included the obituary for Amos Knouse, DOD 1933. Would you be interested in including it on his memorial?
