I have been doing genealogy for many many years and really like findagrave.com. I used to do just my own family but now do cemeteries where ever we go. If someone sees anything that is wrong or if you have anything to offer please contact me as I would be glad to help.|
TRANSFERS REQUESTS and other messages left on my MESSAGE PAGE (Below), will generally be ignored. Please use the edit tab to send me messages about memorials.
Please request edits, corrections & transfers by clicking the "EDIT" tab on the memorial page, select the category of your edit and submit. For bios, and transfers use "suggest other corrections," please include your findagrave contributor # for transfers.
Find-A-Grave guidelines for transfer requests are for direct relatives (spouse, siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents). If you are requesting a transfer, please be specific about your relationship. I generally will not transfer aunts, uncles or cousins. I am not willing to transfer my family members, but I will be happy to add information to their memorials.
I will no longer transfer memorials to someone asking for all memorials of a surname to be transferred to them.
There are lots of new members requesting transfers who are managing many more memorials than they have posted. Please keep in mind that this web site won't work if you aren't willing to go out and gather information that might help someone else!

Jim: Thanks for the heads up. The Leonia Cemetery entry has been deleted. Their is another entry placing a John Gorman in Boulder Creek Cemetery. David Habben who has that memorial say he does not believe his John Gorman is the same person and without proof is not interested in deleting him. So I guess for now they both will stand.
Thanks for the information...

I did see that I had made a duplicate and "thought" I had deleted mine. The website had a hick up about that time. Sorry about that and thanks for letting me know.

Thank you, I'd love to manage my uncle john's memorial. I will add him to his mom and dad. Because you added his Find A Grave, I am now in contact with my cousin for the first time in our lives. I'm 61 and she's 75. She loves to hear someone call her cousin.

Just another thanks. I'm so happy to be able to manage the memorials for my ancestors/clan.

thanks for your work at Deerwood Cemetery. I have many relatives there I would'nt have known about short of a visit myself. Thanks again for your attention to them.
