|Bio and Links|
A big "Thank You" goes out to everyone who sends any info and links for the memorials I've added.|
I got interested in Family History in 2007, and in 2008 and 2009 visited hundreds of my "dead relatives", as my wife so descriptively put it. (I did meet many live ones, too.)
Feel free to use any of my grave marker photos any way that you want to, as few (if any) of them have any artistic and/or commercial value which might be covered by the intent of the Copyright clause in the Constitution. (Please note, however, that this only applies to photos with my name under them. For any others, you will need to contact the person who added them for their permission to copy and use elsewhere.)
A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to everyone who was generous enough to transfer so many more of my distant family members to me in the last half of 2016. My plan for the coming years is to add brief Bios to thousands of my distant cousins' pages. (A good example of such a Bio can be seen here: Margaret Ellen Minteer Peters.) Click on the map above to see where those thousands of distant cousins are buried; they are scattered all across the country, as are most of we mongrel Americans' relatives.
I gladly transfer to anyone who asks, unless I am more closely related. I am not related to over 99% of the people whose pages I manage.
From a recent posting (December 2016) on another contributor's page:
Dutch names: with spaces or no spaces?
The Dutch community, in an effort to standardize records across the board, has asked that the spaces go the way of the spaces in the Mc names.

Hi! I am one of the 23 granddaughters of John and Rosaria Grandinetti. I have more info I could and would like to add to their profiles. Would you be willing to transfer ownership of their records to me? Thank you so much for originally recording them.

I'm familiar with the Hilliards Cemetery. It's a small cemetery (back in the woods). I know the approximate location. It seems to be a family cemetery. But, Samuel could be buried there (with no marker). He most likely is buried there or in one of the nearby cemeteries (with no marker). However, his death certificate DOES NOT say that he is buried in the Hilliards Cemetery. It says that he is buried in Hilliard(s), Pa. There are other relatives (including his wife) buried in the Mt. Varnum Cemetery which is near by. He could be buried there, again, with no marker.
