Bio

I'm an amateur singer & guitarist. When taking pictures at cemeteries & adding interments to this site, I started with my own family (charity begins at home, as they say). Then I did the same for friends & for people whose deaths made headlines in my local newspaper. Now I take grave pics & add pages for people whether or not I ever knew them or heard of them. Besides gravestones themselves, my major sources of info have been the BYU-Idaho burial index & the Utah burial index.

OBITUARY POLICY: If you request that I add an obit to a person's page, be prepared for me to delete the names of surviving family members or any other potentially sensitive info.

INSCRIPTION POLICY: The Inscription text field is intended for epitaphs, veteran statistics, & info OTHER THAN names & life dates. I type inscription info in lower case, except first letters & acronyms. I use commas instead of line breaks to convey the info in as few lines as possible.

PHOTO TIP: If you have photographed a headstone for 2 people (usually a husband & wife) & posted it to a page for one of them, & want to copy it to a page for the other person, please be careful not to right-click the small grave pic on the main memorial page for the 1st person; otherwise the small pic, not the big one, will be the one that you'll save to your hard drive & that will end up on the page for the 2nd person.

I have done little gravestone photography since the summer of 2007, but once in a blue moon I do resume this hobby for a short while. In any case, I appreciate the feedback I have received from family & friends of those for whom I've added pages &/or grave pics.
