Bio and Links
Bio Photo While I try to research all memorials, I do make mistakes, so corrections are welcome. If you want to add information or make a correction, please use the "Edit" button on that memorial. I'll try to get to it as fast as possible.

Please ask permission before using any of my photographs on your Find A Grave memorial or on any other genealogy web site. I'm not all that picky about copyrights and stuff. I just want to be asked first. It's the right thing to do.

While I don't like telling people what to do here on Find A Grave, I really wish they would at least attempt to link husbands and wives when they create memorials. Find A Grave is now one of many genealogical resources found on the internet, so make it more effective by linking spouses and, if possible, their children. It helps.

ROBERT LEE DOWNS
Hi, Robert Lee Downs was my maternal great-grandfather. I was looking at his memorial and noticed there are only 2 children listed. Great-grandpa actually had 2 more children, my maternal grandpa, Lawrence Coleman Downs and Albie Downs-Henderson. Is there any way you can add my grandpa and his sister? Great-grandpa was married to Artie and also to my great-grandma Gourdie Crowell-Downs who was a full-blooded Native American Indian of the CHOCTAW tribe. Please feel free to contact me via email at Sha.ron51@hotmail.com ~ Thanks so much!

RT,
Thank you so much for the great-aunt and great-uncle transfers. I really appreciate it. I'll keep my eyes open for any other familial ties in the future. I hope your health improves daily.

OK, R.T.
I added the dates and places to mine his obit. I also see another person created a memorial for him.
Are you related to him?

Thanks for the update.

Edits

Hello! Just wanted to leave you a note letting you know that I've sent an edit or two your way. F.A.G. doesn't alert you to edits that need to be tended to, but a message does!

Thanks!

Hello R.T. Brandon,

If your relative, Maxine Brandon Short was married to James Vernon Short (my 5th cousin), b. 1902, bp. Idaho, d. 1970, dp. Spokane, WA, then I would appreciate if you would connect them.

Appreciatively,
