Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an amateur genealogist, living in Dublin, Ireland.

I am particularly interested in the Pigott and Edgeworth families of Ireland and their descendants.
The graves of Irishmen who fought in WW1 & WW2 are also of interest.

they will not follow you,

Correction to George Buchanan Virtue
Hello John, I would like to ask you to make a correction to the Find A Grave Memorial #131174192 for George Buchanan Virtue & his wife Helen Mary Clarke in Clontarf Cemetery, Dublin. You have it noted that George's father was Irvine Virtue and his mother was Christiana Marshall. This is the wrong George Virtue. George Buchanan Virtue who married Helen Mary Clarke stated on his marriage record that his father's name was Robert. George Buchanan Virtue, son of Robert Virtue and Anne Buchanan was born on 11 Dec 1871 according to his birth record. George & Helen had 8 children, John Clarke Virtue, 26 Apr 1902, George Buchanan Virtue Jr. b. 6 May 1904, Edith Mary Virtue, b. 13 Jun 1907, Eva Magdelen Virtue, b. 23 Mar 1910, Mary Alice Virtue, b. 7 Oct 1912, Josephine Virtue, b. 20 Jul 1914, Robert Virtue, b. Dec 1918 & Ethel Teresa Virtue, b. 20 Nov 1922.

Francis Henry Browning (id=156046453)
Hello John,
I have been contributing to the Imperial War Museums digital records of those who were involved in WW1 in "Lives of the 1st world war". I have set up a community to remember those who were first class or test cricketers and have included Francis Henry Browning. I am trying to find images to help illustrate his life story and found your images on this website. Would you be happy for me to use the images you added to his memorial? I would, of course, credit you as source of the images.
I look forward to hearing from you.
