I find that due to people not reading information I have placed here that this note will have to be placed at the top. ****Request must be made according to Find A Grave guidelines. My email is below if you have the need to demonstrate your superior knowledge. Critical messages will be deleted immediately with no recording of any "vital" information.

At the age of ten I became interested in family history. My step-grandfather's sister-in-law was Leva "Dollie" Hager Bell. She and her husband Herbert Bell started picking me up and taking me to the Boone County Genealogical Society meetings at the library at Madison, WV. I meet many good cousins there. When I started I did not know they were my cousins but we figured it out. Jean Harmon, Janet Hager, Leonore Ferrell, Mr. Turner and many others helped me. I also meet Sigfus Olafson and was amazed at his level of knowledge of my family. Mr. Olafson was in his 80s and he had been good friends with my Great-great grandfather, James Iverson Pauley, when they were young men. He told me not only about family history and the names on the charts but knew many family stories. I am still a member of the Boone County Genealogical Society, although there have been many gaps in my membership since I moved away from my hometown. I am a member of The Cabell Foundation. I am eligible for DAR, Jamestowne Society and DOC but have not made applications to these organizations. Hope to get to it one day. I am related to the Miller (Turtle Creek and Rock Creek of Boone County,WV), Mitchell, Cabell, Stollings, Manns, Ball, Bells, Brooks, McDilda, Cummings, Hager, Pauley, Flynn, Bennett, Roberts, Chambers, Comer and many other families in Boone County. I have taken special interests in the Baisden, Adkins, Dolin and Bias families too because of families that married into my family.
