Find A Grave Memorial# 153125770
I have no connection to Mr. Herndon and his family and do not know where they might have been buried previously. I entered this information from a transcription of this cemetery done in the late 1990s. I wondered at that time about the dates, knowing that they predate the organization of this cemetery. Sorry I can't be of any help to you.
|Jill Simpson||contribution of yours|
I'm trying to do some family research and find you the contributor for WL Ferguson at findagrave. Vivian LA cemetery. I believe this man to be my great grandfather. However the William Lloyd (a calculated relationship) doesn't match any other information I have.
Wondering what you know about that if anything. Thanks for any help. I get stumped on my searches for sure.

How did you get pics of where my Grandma Fletcher is buried and did you get the Families OK do add them?

Re: Confederate Memorial Monument located at Caddo Parish Courthouse in Shreveport, LA.
Caddo Parish Commission is actively involved in public meetings to hear feedback from the community for the removal of monument.
In 2014 it was added to the National Historical Register of Historic Places.
I have already photographed the same which is huge artistic treasure.
Informing and listening for feedback via email,
Lest we forget!

|Marguerite Collins||A Collins Thank You|
Several years ago, you went to Grove Hill Cemetery in De Soto Parish LA to take pictures of MW Collins (my CSA ancestor) and his family. I was so grateful. And I visit nowadays. Please do a Cemetery Lookup and see what the folks involved with the Grove Hill Cemetery erected for those who served in battle and lie at rest now. Lest We Forget...Marguerite Collins
Thank you for the transfer! I've updated the memorial : )

I'm a great grandson of subject who is in Shreveport's Greenwood Cemetery. You, apparently, posted a photo of John. Since I've never seen a photo of John, I'm interested in the source.

|firstname.lastname@example.org||John Daniel Canfield|
Hi. Just wanted to let you know that John Daniel Canfield in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery (Find A Grave Memorial# 33950333)was the son of Joseph Canfield and Martha Bullock. John E. Canfield and Martha Jones were the parents of John McKendree Canfield.
Thank you for your hard work.

This memorial is not William R Duncle. This is his 1st wife the sister to his 2nd wife who is my great grandmother. He & her sister are buried at Old PineHill Cemetery in Sicily Island, LA. My mother's cousin went to this cemetery when she was going to college and the only thing left of her wooden marker had "Wife of William R Duncle". She told me that cameras were far and few between back then so she didn't have one to take a picture. Would you please correct this. The dates are correct just not the name. Her name was Martha Ann Turner Duncle. I would love to be able to link William Rufus to both his wives and Martha's daughter to her. Thank you, Sincerely, Laura Jane Russell Sullivan
