RE: photo of Anthony Mendykowski headstone
Hi Katherine,
Thank you for your note. I am so pleased that I was able to connect you to your family member, your story brought tears to my eyes. Stories like yours make my effort all worth the while. I can't imagine that the church would not have records, some are so cooperative and others just are so rude. If you would like this memorial transferred to you, information added, or other family linked to him, I would be happy to do that for you also.

Saunders, Hopedale Village Cem.
Hi Katherine
I only saw their gravestone once, long time ago. It was upright then. Not sure which cemetery they are in, but it was Hopedale. Charles worked for Drapers. I sure hope they are there? I have a nice picture to put on their site soon.

I'll give you their no's so you can read about them.
Charles Saunders, 663347
Ella (Moore) Saunders, 6633492

That must be awful, to find a spot with no marker. I had one without a marker, but she was moved later when her husband finally bought a gravestone. Their children were so sad, not even a marker for their mom, who died young.

Thank you so very much, I really appreciate your offer to look them up.
Sincerely, Barb

Katherine - I read where you have a listing of Hopedale Cemetery. Would Charles & Emma Saunders be on that list.
They died in Hopedale:

Ella (Moore) Saunders,
born 1853,
died Oct. 27, 1928

Charles Hallet
born 1848
died between 1920 - 1928

I would surely appreciate it, if you could look them up on the list!

Sincerely, Barbara K.

Many thanks for trying to find his stone, in the snow, if there, and searching after the snow melts.
I have time.
Thanks, Charles
