Bio and Links
Bio Photo First and foremost, I have no desire to be the highest contributor, but to hopefully assist in filling in the gaps that may someday be priceless to others. My husband and I have spent many hours photographing grave markers & documenting memorials and the best reward is when a family member finds them. While photographing headstones, we did run across some markers that had been "enhanced" with chalk, and in one instance with a black marker by person(s)unknown to us.

Obituary photos are copyrighted. so, PLEASE do NOT add these photos to any memorials I have created. Please read FAQ under "Working with Photos":
General Guidelines:
"ONLY post photos for which YOU hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!!

In addition, PLEASE DO NOT add death certificates. They are only as accurate as the information given by the informant, and they very often contain inaccurate information. Also, some of the information can be disturbing to some people.

Also, I will not add obituaries unless they are my relation, so PLEASE DO NOT ask me to add them. You will be wasting your time and mine.

Should you find that I have made a mistake entering information or have duplicated an entry please let me know and I will remedy the situation as soon as possible.

Please be sure the edits you submit are accurate. I have made several changes from edit requests and found out through other edit requests, the previous information was incorrect. I do not research submitted edit requests unless there is something that appears to be incorrect.

Finally, please do NOT add obits, death records, etc. on the "Add a Flower or Note" Option. This is against Find-A-Grave's policy.

My records indicate that John W. Isaacks, Memorial
46257111, was the son of James A. Isaacks, the son of George Harvey Isaacks. His tombstones shows that he is the son of J. A. Isaacks and M. Isaacks.
I have their names as James A. and Martina (Matten) A. Martin Isaacks.

Albert Paul Sprinkle at Galveston Cemetery
Thank for the heads up that Albert Paul = Elbert Paul. Unfortunately since I did not create the memorial for Albert Paul (although it was transferred by the original contributor to me), I cannot delete the memorial. Also, sadly, the contributor who created the memorial has passed away. Nonetheless, I transferred it back to the contributor and sent a note indicating Albert = Elbert. (Elbert already has a memorial.) Hopefully FindAGrave staff will delete the memorial for Albert Paul.

parents of Emelia Louise Gerichs-Kuhlenschmidt
you have the wrong parents of Emelia Louia Gerichs-Kuhlenschmidt listed
The correct parents are Henry W. Gerichs and Wilhemina Sanders

I can give you more detail if you wish

william Bakjer son of Wilma Kuhlesnchmidt daugther of Emelia Gericsh daughter of Henry W Gerichs

PS Henr y Christian Gerichs was son of Anton and Henry W was son of Christian Gericsh

Anton and Christaina are both sons of Julius Anton Gerichs

So Hency C and Henry W are cousins and both married to different Wilhemina Sanders

so it is complicated

Glad you found it interesting. Sometimes we don't realize how prominent people from the past are because the information is lost or its not easy to find.

Thanks. I love Indiana DC. So many states don't have the image online and you just have to go by someone else's transcription. The only thing I don't get is why they don't put the Mother's maiden name in the info rather than her married name. Oh well, they're great otherwise.

Hi Karen,

How do I communicate with you privately without posting publicly on Find A Grave?

Thank you,
