My family lines are primarily Moss in Limestone Co AL, Foreman in Shelby Co IN, Cadle and Downey in Jackson Co and Craighead Co AR, Gentry in Carroll Co MO.|
I spent the majority of my growing up years in Desha Co Arkansas and especially enjoy connecting the families who were my neighbors.
I rely more on documentation, than I do on what is on a tombstone. So many times, family makes mistakes on the dates, and also, mistakes are made while making the monument. Common sense should always take precedence over a piece of carved stone.

What on earth are you doing sending messages at 4 in the morning? Were you up late partying at your computer? Ha!
Grace's branch of the family are very, very, VERY distant relatives of mine. We have to go back to the late 1700's to get to our common ancestor. FYI, there are several variant spellings of our family name in use today. Are you related to her?

Thanks for the information, it has been added to Margaret's memorial. Would you like her transferred to your care ?

Well, it is a pleasure to make contact here. Nice to "meet" you. If there is a connection, you would not be the first cousin I have connected with directly through Find-A-Grave. I've been a contributor for a few days shy of 16 years and many interesting things have come about.
Hezekiah is a proven 4th great grandfather of mine. I have mountains of documentation! You'll notice his gravestone spells his surname "ROBRSON." They certainly spelled what they heard. His 2nd wife, Tabitha, who was also his sister-in-law, had a great deal of difficulty collecting her widow's pension for his service in the War of 1812 as he used at least 4 variants of Robinson.
At any rate, I want to pursue this connection and hopefully, we can help each other connect some of the dots. I'll email you separately but I can't take too much time right now. I'm on my way to teach 2 genealogy classes today and, as usual, I'm not 100% prepared!!
Again, thanks for the contact. We'll talk soon.
