Currently working on several trees. Born in Tampa, Florida, raised in Bayside, Queens County, New York City, New York, currently living in Northern New Jersey. Retired in 2008.On my mother's side there are Irish and German immigrants (mid 1800s) who lived and raised families in the New York City area. My grandmother on my father's side is the link that makes me a direct descendant of Edward Doty who came over on the Mayflower in 1620. There are generations of colonizers and pioneers on this side. My family on my father's side were pioneers who went from New England to Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Iowa and finally into the western states. I am trying to organize everything for future generations and to honor my ancestors who have been forgotten and struggled greatly to just to survive.
I WILL GLADLY TRANSFER MEMORIALS TO RELATIVES OF ANYONE WHO I HAVE ADDED, PROVIDING THE INDIVIDUAL IS NOT PART OF MY OWN CLOSE FAMILY. PLEASE USE THE EDIT TAB ON THE MEMORIAL PAGE TO REQUEST TRANSFERS. YOU MAY ALSO USE ANY PHOTOS THAT I HAVE TAKEN FOR YOUR FAMILY TREES, ETC. PLEASE USE THE NEW "EDIT" TAB ON YOUR PROFILE PAGE TO REQUEST CHANGES, CORRECTIONS AND ADDITIONS ON MEMORIALS THAT I HAVE POSTED.

I HAVE ESTABLISHED A FACEBOOK GROUP HONORING IMMIGRANTS WHO CAME TO NEW ENGLAND DURING THE GREAT MIGRATION 1620-1640. I HAVE MANY PATERNAL ANCESTORS WHO FALL INTO THIS CATEGORY. COME JOIN US. https://www.facebook.com/groups/145050959187406/

RE: CAMERON
No Ken, he was not Civil War. Enlisted in 1910 and discharged 1913.
He was born in 1892. Mike Boyle came across his name and and started researching. Feel he is a forgotten veteran here. Does not have a flag holder at all. His stone appears to be in good condition, but I am going to go and take a look. Our Veterans Affairs gal questioned 'U S Civil War Pension Files', but decided that did not mean he was in Civil War, but was filed the years 1861-1934.
Hope this all makes sense. Sounds very sad!!

Thanks, Daisy

Hello
Hi Ken, sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, I am still researching persons from Richland County, Ohio. Most of my husbands ancestors lived here in Richland County and a few surrounding counties. Do you have relatives from here, I can't remember? If I can be of help to you, just let me know. Good to hear from you.

Hi Ken, wondering if you know anything more about Parnell Cameron? We believe he is a Navy veteran that ended up from 1917-1927 (his death year) in navy-army hospital in District of Columbia . He is not recognized in cemetery with flag holder or flag. Haven't found a great deal of info.

Thanks,
Daisy

Philip Brady #153945066
Ken,

First, thank you for the hard work that you do that benefits so many.

The Census info that is posted for Philip Brady Find a Grave # 153945066 is incorrect.

Philip Brady lived in Randolph Twsp. (Mine Hill) from at least 1830 to his death. He can be found in censuses from 1830 to 1880 except for 1840.
He was md. twice; 1st Rose and then 2nd Margaret McDermott in 1856. His children were Stephen, Alice and Matthias, all with Rose. Matthias and his children are also buried at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Philip is gg-grandfather of my wife, Cathy Brady Wellington.

Please feel free to email me at kwellington@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Dear Cousin
Oak Woods Cemetery
Hi, You have some requests at Oak Woods Cemetery in Chicago.

If you call the cemetery and ask for grave locations I'll be happy to try and find the graves and take the headstone photos. I'm going there in a week or so.

I would need just the Section and the Lot number.

Oak Woods Cemetery: 773-288-3800

Thanks. Gary

RE: Hanlen stone Sand Hill
Ken, thanks for adding James Hanlen - I wanted to but wasn't sure so glad you verified this.

Sent you obit I found for Wm. Foote - will add him when I get a little more info.

Wick - Find A Grave 176 685 609

Found small death notice saying she was buried at Sand Hill. No death year. Mrs. Amerlia Davis Foote died May 2.

J. Cole Find A Grave 178 327 164 was added by Jacie because of the Latham and Bagley's buried there and her relationship. Nothing says Sand Hill.

Thanks for your help - you are ever generous!!

RE: Hanlen stone Sand Hill
Hi Ken, this has been a fast summer. Don't know where it has gone.
We did 13 more stones at Sand Hill this summer, as well as 15 at Goodale and 13 at Union. Some Veterans are yet to be done in
different places.

Doubt if we get any more finances for Sand Hill this year, but still want to do more probing. Have found a couple obits that say burial was at Sand Hill, which we don't know or no evidence of stones.

Surely wish one day we could find Clementine!!

Did you see the James B. Hanlen Find A Grave 530 40 467 buried at Woodbridge? The James on the stone 1850-1870 is not on Find A Grave
correct? -- the James that is on side with Horatio. Do you think when they lost James B., they named another child James??

Daisy

Also, a very distant relative of my husband in London contacted me re some Wingerts. Do you have any knowledge of John R. Davis at Masonic Cemetery. Find A Grave 70759904 who his wife was or where she may be buried? The daughter Mary E. married a Wingert and they are also at Masonic.

Thanks, Daisy
